John Standley, 47, is President and CEO of Rite Aid Corporation. He returned to Rite Aid Corporation as President and Chief Operating Officer in September 2008, after previously serving as CEO of Pathmark Stores, a regional supermarket chain, from 2005 to 2007. Standley first joined Rite Aid in December 1999, serving as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Executive Vice President during his tenure. Following the company's succession plan, he assumed the role of CEO from Mary Sammons, Chairman of the Board, on June 23, 2010. Standley was named a director of the company in June 2009.
