Drug and Product Recall Information

Ethex Corporation is recalling certain lots of their product, Dextroamphetamine Sulfate 5mg Tablets, NDC #58177-0311-04,. The lots are being recalled as a precaution due to the possibility that they may contain oversized tablets. An inspection of undistributed lots revealed that a small number of Dextroampheamine Sulfate tablets were oversized. Oversized tablets may contain as much as twice the labeled amount of active ingredient. The three lots released before the discovery of the oversized tablets are being recalled as a precaution.

Due to the classification of this product as a Class II medication, regulations prohibit your Rite Aid pharmacy from accepting recalled product at the store.
