At Rite Aid, our mission is to improve the health and wellness of our communities through engaging experiences that provide our customers with the best products, services and advice to meet their unique wellness needs. But our efforts extend far beyond the walls of our stores. Every year, our mission truly comes to life through thousands of hours of volunteer service and grants from The Rite Aid Foundation.
Since 2001, The Rite Aid Foundation has awarded over $16 million to nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving health and wellness in the communities we serve. Partnering with our customers, we have raised more than $60 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
To make the greatest impact possible, The Rite Aid Foundation focuses on three core areas for charitable giving within our communities:
- Children's health and well-being
- Special community health and wellness needs, including during times of emergency or natural disasters
- Rite Aid's own community of associates during times of special need
As we sharpen our focus on the health and well-being of children, we are also giving our customers the opportunity to help, too. Through our KidCents program, customers are able to round up their change at the register to support non-profit organizations that address children's health and well-being.
Together we can make meaningful and lasting differences in the lives of children and their families in our communities..
