Rite Aid Offering Free Advisor Tool to Help Medicare Beneficiaries Choose Prescription Drug Coverage for 2019
CAMP HILL, Pa. (Oct. 16, 2018) - As the annual Medicare Part D election period gets underway, from now through Dec. 7, 2018, Medicare-eligible customers can visit Rite Aid pharmacies nationwide to take advantage of free resources that help them select the right prescription drug plan (PDP) or update existing coverage for 2019.
Patients and caregivers can use Rite Aid's dedicated Medicare Advisor comparison tool, available at
Through the free Medicare Advisor tool, patients can compare the estimated annual costs of various plans, including monthly premiums, brand and generic co-pays and prescription drugs covered. There is no obligation to enroll or change plans.
"Choosing the right prescription drug plan is an important decision for our senior customers, and we're pleased to be offering free resources through the Medicare Advisor tool that will help Medicare beneficiaries select the best plan for their individual needs," said Jocelyn Konrad, Rite Aid executive vice president of pharmacy.
