Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought these hooks because I was thrilled with the fact that they are clear. Being a college student, I am all too familiar with using command hooks to hang up things in my dorm room (we are not allowed to put holes in the walls), but these fell short... literally. They never stayed up for more than a couple days. I even tried letting the hooks stay up for 48 hours before putting anything on them, but they still fell. I've used almost every adhesive sheet in the pack, but only one of my hooks is still sticking to the wall :(. My white hooks, however, are still going strong after a month. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointed in this product. I purchased these hooks to hold small light weight wooded items. They were purchased as a gift from my husband on a trip to Hawaii. The one item is of two dolphins nose to nose that forms a heart. I installed to hooks exactly as directed and didn't even hang the item until the next day. The hook left go and the dolphins fell and both tails were broken off. The item is not replaceable since we will not be returning to Hawaii and the store is now out of business. To say I am upset is putting it mildly. Your products have such a good reputation it's sad to have such a bad experience for such a meaningful gift that was ruined.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice! Really sturdy! I bought the 5 hooks pack about a yr ago and have been using 3 of them as key hooks! There's 3 car keys in my family so I use them for our car keys. They works perfectly as they should. I like the clear ones because it can match on any wall. I stuck these hooks on tiled walls and they've been on there ever since. Now I'm a college student so I pretty much like to pack on my keys with cute keychains and others haha but my hook has been sturdy enough to hold up my keys! I've even got an ID wallet on my key full on coins and cards and the hook still stays up! Overall, very nice! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Clear vs opaque 1 Star = Poor I've purchased and used tons of Command hooks and for the most part, I've been very satisfied with their performance; I love the ability to hang/move pictures, etc without putting holes in the walls. We recently remodeled our kitchen and I was delighted to discover the clear hooks but have been very unhappy with their adherence to and ability to hang the same items on the same surfaces. I've had a copper mold badly damaged when it fell to the [hard] floor and I've given up trying to hang the calendar on the pantry door.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work at all. My wife purchased these hooks at Costco to hang Christmas lights in our daughters room across the top of the wall. FYI, I painted the room about two months ago with eggshell finish paint. The adhesive would not stick to the paint. I cleaned each area with rubbing alcohol and followed the directions implicitly. The adhesive was not strong enough to hold the clip to the wall let alone anything else. This was an 18 pack item number 17067CLR-COST. I am really curious if the type of paint I used on the walls has caused this problem. As a side note I painted the room two different colors white and green so technically the paint is different on alternating walls but the adhesive would not stick to either wall/color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Now you see you don't Command Small Wire Hooks are a girls best friend. They offer no show organization. They can be positioned and repositioned without damage to any surface. They require no tools or assistance from your otherhalf. They stick anywhere and everywhere. Getting the most space out of a small house has been a challenge for me. Not wanting to damage the renovations has been another. These hooks are the answer. My spouse remarked that he has never seen anyone make the most out of every nook and cranny, like I do. Command is the answer to doing just that! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I Wish They Would Stay Up I have the organizing bug this week, so I decided to buy more Command hooks to hang up necklaces near my dresser. I currently use 3 medium white hooks to hang scarves and small bags on the same wall. They work really well. I chose the value size clear utensil hooks because I really liked their appearance. Sadly, after very closely following all instructions in preparing surface, applying strips and hooks and waiting more than the 1 hour before hanging the necklaces, several of the hooks fell off the wall before I even hung anything on them. I carefully cleaned a second time with alcohol, and used up the extra strips that came with my hooks to re-apply three hooks. I also used an additional 30 seconds firmly pressing each of the 9 hooks to the wall. Then I waited overnight before hanging my necklaces. Today 2 hooks are down. It can't be the weight, since none of my necklaces are more than a few ounces. I am disappointed that I wasted my time and money with these hooks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as good as the original. I've used Command Strips in the past and have been happy with the results, but these new clear strips are not as good as the old white ones. I use four of these on my kitchen back splash to hold utensils. The back splash is a plastic laminate. Out of four hooks, one has fell four times after a few hours and one fell after four days which is how long they have been up so I expect the other to fall soon. I weighed the utensils and the heaviest one is 3.8 ounces, less then half of the stated maximum weight. I have basically the same hook in white (The Command Small Wire Hooks) which has been supporting a 9 ounce clipboard for over 6 months with no problems. I also notice that the strips with those are thicker. I don't know if that is the difference between the two but the thicker ones works better, at least for me.
