Depend Protection with Tabs Incontinence Underwear, Maximum Absorbency, Large, 16 Count is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 476.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from The new change to the two refastenable tabs sucks The new changes to the Protection with tabs diapers are the worst thing that you have done in a long time. They are not as leak proof as the ones with the plastic shell. For people that work and still very mobile this product is horrible, they are the hardest thing to put on if you are in a public bathroom. Men don't use skirts and can't take their pants off to put them on and trying to split them makes them the hardest thing to put on because of all the elastic. This change has really made my life much more complicated because now I have to look for a substitute which will likely suck. I loved the old design and have used it for years, so long Depends.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from a total downgrade, inferior product 1. no handle on package so have to bag it at grocery store, more difficult to transfer. 2. flimsy tissue-like paper texture makes it much more difficult to place under the patient. 3. only 4 tabs replacing 6. much less secure closure and they rip off easily. 4. costs more money for fewer diapers=more money for much lower quality. 5. can't tell the front from the back, the inside from the outside, constantly having to reposition. 6. not as secure in holding urine, not reliable for overnight use. A real disappointment. Probably has something to do with EPA regs and, of course, greed! Gone are the good old encentives of competition. a caregiver

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible product Why did you get rid of the thicker plastic backed diapers? Could you not sell them alongside the newer product? This is like spending money for someone's garbage. Your max absorbency is hideous at best. And before you reply with your canned message " perhaps you should try one of our other products", let me explain something to you. You lose customers when you change a product and fail to consider the feedback your customers provide you. I have long since stopped being a customer of your wood pulp paper backed garbage. People are tired of only seeing the new depend trash bag on the shelves. Why not offer both?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New Depends with tabs, bring back old!!!!! The new ones fall off when sleeping!! Rip way to easy! I don't care if they are softer or quieter or have resealable tabs ( that come loose). I am in a wheelchair and cant feel them, and no one hears them... I am not walking. I have been wearing them since 1998 and you change them on me!!!!..... And don't tell me to try the Depend Adjustable Underwear!!! They are pull ups... I can not stand up to pull them up!! You had the best product out there... WHY NOT JUST MAKE A NEW PRODUCT AND KEEP THE ORIGINALS AVAILABLE? I know SOME people like the new ones but I bet they are not paralyzed. Please fix this SOON!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New Changes Are Awful & Not Working, Why Change a Good Product? I was loyal Depend customer with the old design with 6 tabs and plastic outer layer. I use this product for my daughter. The new design with only 2 tabs leaves gaps causing leaks, I had to use medical tape to close the gaps; then there were leaks through the cloth like outer layer, this is horrible!!! In a nut shell this new design sucks! PLEASE bring back the old design. It seems the most vulnerable group of people are always having to make do with a sub par product, using Depends is a basic need not a luxury, no one deserves to have urine leaked pants all day long. PLEASE listen to your customers, we have enough to deal with, can we at least get a product that works (fits & doesn't leak)??

Rated 1 out of 5 by from new depends with tabs leaks. The new Depends with tabs. 2 tabs not 3 allow leakage. New fabric allows soak thru. Remember the new Coke? Falilure. Remember the new Edsel? Failure. Remember the Yugo car. Failure. Now we have the "New Depends" Failure. We bought 6 packages of the New Depends" with 2 tabs, and can't use them because they no longer work. Can't return them either to Rite Aid. Listen to your customers. Hard to sell new customers, easy to loose to competition. Listen to the negative review. Listen, Listen. From 5 stars to one star. Listen. Don't send form letter which I see under each negative review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is changing to a soft outer cover. The soft version leaks like the titanic! This product which has been my day time diaper for years is now changing to a Soft outer cover. I received a few of the new packagages in error - and I must say they were horrible. I mean horrible. The new cloth style leaks out the behind. they don't stay high on the back. They leak badly. And the tabs constantly rip. The old ones were plastic backed ( new ones are not yet released ) and the old ones were fantastic. I would not recommend them for night time use if your a heavy wetter, but they are great for the days as you can make them nice and snug. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed with new design! I have used Depend products for many years for my brother who has Celebral Palsy. I have even been willing to pay for these products myself instead of the cheaper ones covered by insurance because they worked. Well no more! New design doesn't hold with only two tabs and reusable. Very disappointed in changes - loved the old product - now just equal to other brands! Please fire whoever made the decision to change what was already a superior product. There was already enough products with those options. Have had to use packing tape to keep these secure. Will be glad when they're gone!!!
