Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth babies stress. Newborn son I used this product for 2 days after my son (preemie 34wks 5pounds at 8oz at time of birth) was discharged from hospital a week after birth. I was told by his nicu nurse to get him Vitamin D drops because I breatfeed. No specific brand though. My husband bought Enfamils brand. I gave my son 1 dose for 2 days. Day 1 his stool started to become greenish. Day 2 He started having hard time passing his bowel which he never had. So I immediately stopped use. Last night he was fussy would not sleep because he could not pass his bowel. I am actually currently looking on ways to help his constipation and came across this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New design is terrible The new design is terrible. It must be a cost saver bc otherwise I don't understand the change from the dropper. Now I have to wash the flimsy syringe after every use which just adds an extra step. Not to mention I need to make sure I don't lose it. This may not seem like a big deal if I just had one kid, but with two small kids at my heals, while caring for a newborn it's just annoying. The dropper was so much more convenient. I read it was to ensure accuracy of dosage, but that's ridiculous. It wasn't hard to measure with the dropper. I'll be looking for a new vitamin D supplement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible product This is a horrible product. The first time I used this 1minute After my son was extremely fussy. He fussed for hours after. I didn't figure it out until the third time I used it with the same results everytime. This is the only website with any positive feed back on this product. Look at the ingredients this stuff would make my stomach upset. I hope enfamil really takes a look at this product and changes it. Wow..... This stuff is horrible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Purchase Our baby girl turned one week old today. She has slept great the past week. Tonight we gave her the d visol drops and she has been up all night crying off and on. We have noticed her having gas as well. I would not recommend this to anyone. After reading previous reviews on the ingredients, I can see why this would keep her up all night with a tummy ache. I can't believe that something like this would be on the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Issued upon discharge from navy hospital I have two previous children that I was unaware this product existed and they were exclusively breastfed. The navy hospital issued these drops to me as part of my discharge medications when I had my twins a week ago. It's good to know that my babies are getting the vitamin d they need. I do not mind the artificial stuff as much as some of these other moms. A lot of the food we eat has artificial items and you cannot guarantee to me that some of it is not in the breast milk. The only thing I didn't like was one twin seemed to start spitting up after not having an issue while in the hospital. They both take it from the dropper without issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT USE!! We are breast feeding our newborn and were advised to give supplemental vitamin D. Baby was absolutely perfect, sleeping and eating, not fussy at all. Began giving D Vi Sol. Had two horrible nights in a row where baby was in obvious pain, curling up, head thrown back, screaming bloody murder for HOURS! Forgot to dose on third day, baby slept normally, just waking to feed. Dosed on the fourth day, then realized that baby's pain and fussiness was following the D Vi Sol doses. Prepared for another bad night. Sure enough, within 20 minutes, baby began twisting in pain and screaming again - for HOURS! PLEASE do not use this brand with your baby!!! There are other brands that do not cause any side effects. Enfamil, please do something about this product!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from D-Vi-Sol Prior to using D-Vi-Sol, there were no problems with gas or sleeping. After D-Vi-Sol he was extremely fussy and could not rest at all. His stomach would rumble for hours?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my baby loves this stuff I thought it was so weird that so many people had so many negative things to say about this product. My baby has never had a reaction of any kind to it and he's been taking it for months. He loves his vitamin D. I just that he should be a commercial for the product, he gets excited when he sees the syringe. I have to be careful while giving it to him because he tries to push the whole syringe in his mouth so he can get more! I've never tasted the stuff, but he obviously loves it. There's lots of negative feedback on this site, just wanted to say we've had no problems with this vitamin D, none of the side-effects others are listing.
