Rated 5 out of 5 by from A life saver This formula was a life saver. After trying Similac Advance, Similac Sensitive, and Enfamil Newborn. I finally found this one to be the best for my baby. This formula has reduced lactose, and allowed my baby to poop every 1-2 days and it was the perfect toothpaste consistincy. I thought the Enfamil Newborn was going to work, but the liquid bowels started again as it was with Similac Advance. I knew my baby was not lactose intolerant as she was breast fed in the beginning. I believe this is a good product for babies with sensitivity to lactose, but not lactose intolerant. She never had issues with gas or fussiness, just infrequent watery bowels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved the day! I was only breastfeeding for a short while. I started using formula when my newborn was 6 weeks old. (mixed with breast milk) I knew within 24 hours that the regular formula was causing serious discomfort and I wasn't going to gamble on the thought that 'it will take some time to get used to'. I knew if we were going to sleep, I needed to make a change! Within 12 hours of switching to the Gentlease, the crying and discomfort stopped and sleep was soon to follow for both of us! My baby is now 6 months old and we still use this formula! He still gets gassy every once in awhile, but I can say that the Gentlease has made a world of difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Noticeable change! This formula is amazing! When my daughter was born (May 2013), we were having breastfeeding issues so the hospital had put her on Similac Advanced. She seemed to do fine those first few days, but then the constipation and crying ensued. She would eat about 2-3 ounces, sleep for 3-4 hours, wake up and be hungry again to the point of crying. So at her 1 month "birthday", your Enfamil box arrived in the mail. We decided to try feeding her the Gentlease formula to see if there would be change. And there was! She's staying fuller longer. She'll eat her 2-3 ounces, sleep almost 5 hours, wake up to be changed and fall asleep or just stay awake with no fussing. Thank you so much enfamil!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this stuff I initially was pro breast feeding and wanted what was best for my child. I also delivered at a hospital that was pro breastfeeding and I did not realize how quickly I noticed it was not for me. My husband and I went to our pediatrician and informed her that breastfeeding was not working out for us. She was so understanding and gave us a can of Enfamil newborn and the Gentlease. Our little boy was struggling with gas and was so fussy. We started using the Gentlease and seriously, within 24 hours, we noticed a huge difference in our newborn. I would recommend this formula to any mother whose infant/newborn is struggling with gas and fussiness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased with this product I started supplementing breastfeeding at about 4 weeks (our son was measuring low on the growth chart for weight). I had purchased a store brand of regular formula and my son seemed very gassy and spit up ALOT when using that type. I talked with our pediatrician and he recommended Enfamil Gentlease and gave me a sample can. I noticed an immediate difference. He quit being so fussy and he also didn't spit up as much. He also began to steadily gain weight. He is now 5 months old and is a very happy, content baby (especially when he is fed!) and he is now exclusively formula fed. I would definitly recommend this formula to other moms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lifesaver I started put breastfeeding my daughter but within a few days problems started. For over a month she had a diaper rash that wouldn't go away no matter how much I treated it and with what. Her mouth would tinge red after feeding and she had a cough. At 4 weeks old she started having gas pains on a regular basis and at 5 weeks the breathing issues began. I tried regular formula, thinking maybe she was allergic to my breast milk. She continued to deteriorate. Then I tried the gentleease. Within 12 hours she began getting better. Within 2 days the diaper rash was all but gone. It was a lifesaver. My baby's now 7 weeks old and happy as can be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sorry I waited! I never write reviews, but honestly my husband and I are thrilled with how quickly this helped our 7 week old son. We started with Enfamil Newborn and at 3 weeks old needed to add cereal to his formula to control AR. Over the past few weeks we noticed his AR slowly getting worse. The pediatrician gave a Rx for Xantac. I was feeling apprehensive about giving him medicine already so we decided to switch formuals first. In the first 2 feedings we already see a HUGE difference! I wish we would have switched to Gentlease weeks ago! Our son gobbles it down. The gas and fussiness have drastically reduced and he's sleeping better! I bet we won't need that Rx afterall!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST FORMULA FOR MY LO! My LO is now 6 months old and doing great thanks to this formula. When he was born he could not stomach a lot of formulas. I've tried a lot of different ones and nothing seemed to work. He would cry for hours, curl up in a fetal position, kick, and was very constipated. I was told to use Miralax and Tylenol to help him out and then I tried the Enfamil Gentlease and wah lah no more fussy baby. He burps well, doesn't scream in pain no more, and hasn't been constipated since I started using this. I would definitely recommend especially if your child has a hard time stomaching other formulas!
