Rated 1 out of 5 by from New syringe is terrible! I have three kids and have been using these products for 6 years. I had been happy with the vitamins when a dropper was provided. The dropper was easy to store (in the bottle) and keep clean. The new syringe is terrible!!! With thee kids, I now have 9 pieces to keep track of: 3 bottles and 3 2-part syringes. The syringes are also poorly designed! It is harder to get to a 1 mL dose and there is more spillage. I'm also spend a lot of time cleaning the syringes. I have given the new syringes a shot but am calling my pediatrician for another vitamin recommendation. Sorry poly-vi-sol, you lost a loyal customer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from the new syringe is very bad I have a developmentally disabled quadriplegic daughter to whom I have been giving poly vi sol for 17 years. The new syringe is hard to use and has to be rinsed, dried and stored. It is not easier to measure the correct dose with this syringe because it is difficult to get the liquid to come all the way to the top of this long barrel. I have already spilled some of the bottle because of the awkwardness of using the new syringe. It's hard to imagine that this change was really for the benefit of the families who use the product. After all this time, I will be finding a new way to help my daughter be properly nourished. This just makes things too hard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from He's almost out need to purchase again. Started giving my son vitamins since he was around a month because it was recommended by his Dr because he is breastfed.. at first he would make a face but still take them then after he just got used to it and actually likes to take his vitamins he is 3 months now and continues to take them..the smell and taste doesn't bother either of us since it smells exactly like prenatal pills and its made it easy for both us when it comes for him to take other medicines although it does stain clothing if it happens to drip which also isn't really a big problem because it comes off after like two washes overall its great and haven't had any bad experiences so far with the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from transitioning to solids My daughter is 18 months old and is a terrible eater so I've decided to use this product so she get's all the necessary vitamins and minerals her current diet is lacking. I simply mix it into her bottle with whole milk (the first time she noticed it) however since then she has not given me any issues. Keep in mind she still loves her bottle so if your child doesn't like the bottle this might not work. As far as stains on her teeth I've been using this product for about 3 weeks and I have never had to deal with stain issues. Also since I don't use the dropper I don't have to deal with stains as a result of throwing up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the prescription vitamins My baby had problems with the prescription multivitamins with fluoride. He would become fussy and scream inconsolably. I stopped giving the prescription to him, and his pediatrician said to try the OTC multivitamin. With this Poly-Vi-Sol he's had no issues. From birth he's been on Enfamil formulas, so I wonder if that helps with his accceptance. He's 9 months old. I add a dropper to a 4-ounce bottle of formula, which he eats along with solids. Sometimes his poop is dark green - as a formula feeding mom, I already know it's extra iron, so it doesn't concern me at all. I would recommend these, especially if your baby already tolerates Enfamil.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Healthy Toddler! Polyvisol with Iron was recommended by our pediatrician for our daughter's mild anemia at age 10 months after she finished breast feeding and was on formula only. We have always mixed it with formula and, now, with milk. Each morning we add it to warmed milk in a sippy cup and she drinks it up without fail. Mild anemia gone since she started the Polyvisol. Never any stomach or digestive problems. No messes by mixing it with fluids. No teeth-staining either. Our daughter has been very healthy, with only two colds in her 3 years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why does this have artificial colour in My toddler takes this easily which I appreciate since he is a very picky eater. However, I went to buy a new bottle today and noticed that it contains carmel colour. Needless to say I did not buy a new bottle and will no longer buy this product. It is completely unnecessary to add artificial colouring to a baby/toddler multi-vit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from more work with the new syringe the new dropper is terrible! the previous dropper was extremely convenient and clean. with the new dropper, you run the risk of getting multivitamin on you, which stains, and you must thoroughly clean and dry the new syringe, as well as put it in a very clean place so you do not contaminate the multivitamin when you use the multivitamin again. not worth the trouble anymore. i really wish Enfamil would put back the old dropper.
