Enfamil Premium Infant Formula,Milk-Based Powder with Iron,N (Newborn Through 3 Months),22.2 oz (1.39 lb) 629 g is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 293.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from great option in a time of need I started out nursing my son in the hospital but because of latching issues switched to expressing and supplimenting with the enfamil. He had no issues with it and went back and forth easily. Shortly after his birth I was readmitted to the hospital and put on antibotics that transferred to the milk so no nursing/expressing for 2 and a half weeks. Thank goodness he had been introduced to enfamil so early, even as a suppliment, it has made this situation easier on both of us. I would recommend supplimenting with enfamil, even just a couple of times a week, to everyone in case (heaven forbid) you end up in a similar situation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works for us My son spent three weeks crying from 7pm-11pm. I tried breastfeeding him, but he would only comfort nurse and not really eat much. We thought he had colic. In preparation for day care, we started giving him Enfamil Newborn once a day so that we could leave a can with his day care in case he ran out of brestmilk bottles. The very first time we gave him the Enfamil Newborn at night, he went the entire evening without crying and slept 5 hours straight. He is still on breastmilk the rest of the day, but now we always give him Enfamil newborn before bed. It helps the whole family have a quiet night and a good night's sleep.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved by Enfamil Newborn After trying 10 different formulas to fix multiple issues my newborn baby was having, I finally tried Enfamil Newborn. It surprisingly fixed nearly all of the issues that we were encountering, which included gas, constipation, irritability, reflux, restlessness, and eczema. Many formulas would fix one thing, but make another thing worse. This formula seemed to do the best of any of them, even better than the specialty formulas with the big price tags. The pediatrician approved us to continue on it & it is still working great at 9 months old. We tried switching formals at about 7 months old & again encountered problems. I'm so thankful for Enfamil Newborn!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty Good Overall We got the ready made product at the hospital and we decided to stay on it for awhile. Our baby likes it and we enjoy the simplicity of having the bottles ready to go. The pros here are just that...easy to use, and our baby doesn't need the formula warmed up. The cons are that the formula seems to give her pretty bad smelly gas, which our Dr. says is pretty normal. Also, she does spit up quite a bit, which stains her clothes. I do admit, however, that the stains come out pretty easily with a stain remover before putting them into the wash. We are looking forward to now moving her towards an infant formula, from newborn. Hopefully, that will be a little better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This formula is wonderful!!! My daughter is 2 1/2 months old now and i had planned on solely breast feeding her. At her 2 weeks check up she was still not back up to birth weight so the Doctor said that we must supplement with formula as well. I had got a sample in the mail and decided to try it. when we got home form the doctor that day i made a bottle and my daughter drank all of it no problems. We went in for a weight check the following monday and she had already gained almost a pound!! i was expecting that she would have gas or spit up and she did not. To this day she still does not spit up and hardly ever has gas. This FORMULA is amazing and i plan to use it when we have our next child! We are so happy with it. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Double-sided Scoop This product is great. When my baby was born he exclusively used the ready-to-use formula in the hospital; after we came home, and ran out of what the hospital gave us, we used the powder. When not traveling we used the powder which caused the usual baby gas. During long car rides we would occasionally use the ready-to-use formula which would cause a slight change in eating habit and more than normal gas(this version of newborn formula also temporarily stained, unlike the powder alternative). I just wish they had a double-sided scoop: one side would measure for a 2 oz serving while the other was for a 1 oz serving. This would be extremely helpful instead of either guesstimating a half scoop or finding alternate measuring tools/techniques.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My daughter is thriving on this! I'm using this product because of some medications I'm taking that prevent me from breastfeeding at the moment. I'm so happy that the hospital sent me home with some liquid based formula for my daughter so I can see how well she handles it... so far she likes the powder based formula over the liquid based formula. What's wonderful about it is that it's readily available whenever I need it in a pinch and it's convenient for me to have in our room when hubby or I need to feed our daughter. The only drawback is the one handed scooping into a bottle, but the bottle has a super wide mouth that is able to accomodate mothers like me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Firmly believe in this product!! I have been extremely happy with enfamil newborn. I switched my baby from similac sensitive. It was honestly a night and day difference. I have never used enfamil products so I was kind of hesitant, but I can truly say it has been a life saver. I breastfeed for 1 month then switched to formula. One noticeable difference is the foaming aspect. Enfamil newborn doesn't foam and most resembles breastmilk. My baby cried, spit up, was constipated, and had terrible gas all the time with similac (no more). Since I have switched to enfamil newborn she seems pleasently mellow (like when I breastfeed). Long story short enfamil will be my choice from now on.
