Give your hair rich, radiant, even color that covers even the most resistant grays. Excellence Color Creme triple protects your hair with the pre-color serum to treat fragile areas and dry ends before the extra-protective, no-drip creme wraps permanent color around every strand of hair. The multi-dose after-color conditioner deep-treats your hair after and in between coloring with ceramide-protein so fragile hair stays protected and your grays stay 100% covered. The Warmer Medium Reddish Blonde color stays vibrant, deep and perfectly even for weeks. The red tone will enhance natural warmth in your hair. Those with more than 50% gray hair will have slightly lighter-looking results and it is not recommended for dark brown to black hair. Nothing covers grays better than Excellence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and no drips! I've been using this for three years and love it. No drips all over, color is true and it's easy to apply and wash out. No residue left on the scalp either. I also love the new tube of protection for hair ends to keep them from becoming darker. This color looks darker on my hair than the box, so be sure and test strip. My hair is naturally dark brown at this point with about 50% white. It still covers evenly. Washing 2-3 times a week with L'Oreal product keeps the fade away. I color every 5-6 weeks, roots 20 min, all over 10. My white is stubborn. I'm 55 and my hair is fine and I am Northern European white. Hope this helps someone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unreliable color My hair was almost totally gray the first time I used L'Oreal Excellence Creme 5RB. I did'nt mind the red it actually turned out to be (unlike any of the color samples on the box) but my husband aid it was too red. I colored 5 weeks later using 6CB thinking it would tone down the red and be more of a brown color and also cover the gray/white roots. 6CB did'nt do anything including covering y roots. I applied the color according to package directions but my roots came out lighter then the original 5RB. It does'nt even look like I colored my hair/roots at all. I feel like I have waisted my time and money on L'Oreal products that have no good results for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dark Ash Brown - Terrible I've been a long time user of Loreal Feria, which I never had problems with other than the color fades quickly. After having read good reviews and recommendations for Excellence, I thought I would try it to see if the color lasts longer. This will be the one and only time I use this product. I naturally have medium brown hair and usually color it one shade darker. I selected dark ash brown, which is similar to the Feria color I had used previously. The color was awful! My hair came out black in the front and did not blend well, leaving patchy brown spots throughout the back of my head. I had to see my hair stylist the next day for her to correct the color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BRING BACK 8BB (BEIGE BLOND) This review and rating is for the color which is not produced any more. I've been using Excellence Creme 8BB (Beige Blond) for many years and it became me. Hair is one of the most important assets of a woman. I have good full hair and this color made it more - it made it beautiful, it made me comfortable with my color. I was complimented on it, I was asked about it. It has been me for my family, for my friends. But no more! Today I used up the last pack of this color6 which bought from all over the country after it was discontinued. After reading the reviews on the new blonde shades I am very discouraged. I do not want to change! BRING IT BACK, PLEASE. As a call for women who understand my attachment to the favorite color and especially to 8BB please write and show your support! Thank you for reading.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Complete wash out! I bought this yesterday and applied it, i am very experienced with salon and drug store coloring. Normally i use nice and easy clairol, which i love it gives great color but i thought i would try something new. i was trying to cover highlights from previous salon work a few months ago plus a few inches of growth on my roots. this color did NOT do the job. my all over hair color is a med brown like i wanted (i was going from a light brown) but all of my highlights and regrowth are still very present. how does a permanent hair dye not cover regrowth lighter than itself? disappointed... it was a waste of money and now my poor hair will have to be redyed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My hair was looking pretty brassy and blond so I wanted to go a shade darker. I picked medium blonde thinking it would darken my super light blonde hair and hopefully create a natural looking color. Well the results are my hair looks nothing like the box. I was terrified when I first saw it. The light blonde looked almost greenish. Once I dried it though it looks great. My hair is so soft and healthy looking too. The color is more of a light ashy blonde. In no way did it darken my already light blonde hair. It just made it ashier rather than golden blonde. I love the results but be forewarned that the color you end up with might not be what you expect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Of all the home hair color products I have tried, Excellence covers my gray the best and lasts the longest. The color always seems to come out darker than shown on the box, but I have learned this and simply wash my hair immediately after I color and then again the following few days and it lightens enough to what I am looking for. That and the slightly redder than expected result are my only complaints. To compensate for the red, I mix a neutral shade with a warm shade to customize my color. The price is right and from experience I know I can get the result I want. For the gray coverage and long lasting color, it is worth the tweaking that I have to do.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Misleading Colors I'm sorry but Loreal hair color, as far as the blonde shades go, is a joke. I have dyed my hair multiple times using other brands and have never had such an issue. I tried 8.5A, 9.5A, and even 01 extra light ash blonde and every time I ended up with orange, dull, brassy hair that no one in their right mind would want. I have naturally medium ashy blonde hair and light blonde ends and just wanted to lighten up my regrowth a little and I ended up with orange hair, with each separate attempt. I have now wasted money on three different boxes of Loreal hair dye. Stay away from the Loreal blonde shades if you want actual "cool or ashy blonde" results.
