Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont ruin your hair! *Used the purple. It's been over a week and I still can't wear my hair in any style other than a ponytail. Mainly because I still can't get a brush through it. This stuff ruined my gorgeous silky hair. I've washed it a few times. I've deeped conditioned it. I've used spray leave in conditioner. I still can't get a brush through it properly. My hair feels disgusting! The color was okay on my dark brown hair. But color is not worth the gross, awful feeling and look my hair now has. I will be contacting Garnier tomorrow by phone to tell them how disgusting my hair is. If it's not even close to normal in another wash or two, I'm going to have to cut my hair. :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I saw this in stores and thought it would be nice to have color in my hair for a few days and the color was honestly very pretty. I have brown hair but with blonde highlights, I had put a lot of the blue where the blonde was and some of it on the brown and it made my hair look pretty cool for a few days. but the horrible thing about this dye is that it's clay based I believe. and you can tell. where I applied the dye it made my hair incredibly dry and it was hard to even get a brush/comb through it and it doesn't come out after a few washes. it takes about two weeks for it to come out when you scrub your head really hard. all in all I wouldn't recommend this product because it ruins your hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So the reviews are weird... I don't know why the reviews are so negative, unless for some reason mine is a different formula or everyone else somehow used it wrong... I like it! It turned my hair the navy blue I'd hoped for (with some nice teal undertones that I'm perfectly fine with) and I could curl and style it normally. My hair only feels a little like it has product in it, and the box even says it'll feel like that, so it shouldn't be a surprise. Maybe just make sure you paid attention to the box; wait until it's completely dry until brushing if the texture or the color is a problem. Granted, I haven't tried washing it out yet, but so far, I really like what it's done to my hair, especially as I'm one who's never dyed her hair and I'm not ready to commit to any color yet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No idea how to get this out of my hair First off, the instructions say to let dry and then brush your hair. It is not physically possible to brush your hair after applying this color. So I shampooed my hair to see if it would help, about 90% of the color seemed to wash out but it was like brushing through tangled hay. I've washed my hair a dozen times since and while you can't really see any color unless you are looking really hard, it's still somehow coated on my hair like paint, leaving it dry and unmanageable. I'm just thankful I only applied it to the bottom half of my hair because if this doesn't come out in another week I may just have to cut off about 8 inches of my poor hair. If anyone has any suggestions I'll try anything at this point. I tried to rub coconut oil into it and it didn't help.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Testing the waters. Well I saw this product at a local store before hearing anything about it. I decided to get it and test it out. I first tested it on a "blended" hair extension and liked how vibrant it was. I then decided to rinse it off to see how it would look and it almost completely washed out. So, I tried it on my natural hair both previously colored and natural. The turn out was very blue and a little green (due to the colored hair being orange). I have yet to rinse it and see what happens, but I like it so far.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay I bought this 2 months ago for a party, and I was extremely satisfied. It showed up beautifully in by blonde hair, and didn't fade until I washed it. It all came out when I washed it the 1st time, so it doesn't guarantee 3 washes, but ONE STREAK in my hair is still a noticeable blue, but it's faded so much it's an ugly green color. I can't get it out, I've tried 8 shampoos, dish soap, and even a leave in treatment but the color is stained to my hair. My hair looks weird now and now I'm sad because I'll have to use it again for my cosplay. Overall it works well when put in, soft hair and good color, but it will stain!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for a weekend pop of color. My office dress code bans nontraditional hair color, so this product is a perfect find for me. I put a few Blue Burst lowlights into my bangs Friday night; and by Monday morning, the blue was gone! This shade turned out more of an teal/aqua/turquoise color on my dyed, light red hair. I'm guessing that was due to all the yellow in the copper color. The product is very runny. The instructions say to use two or three drops at a time - and they mean it. More than that and you'll end up with product everywhere but your hair! Start by applying a small bit about an inch from the tip dragging the color down. then do another pass starting an inch above that one, and so on. You'll get a more even application and better color saturation that way. If your hair is long, I'd avoid wearing white or light shirts for the day. There will be a small bit of transfer onto your clothes if your hair is long. Have fun!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for that weekend of crazy I used this not only on the bottom 1/3 of my hair but also did a full streak by my face. It was a breeze to put in, the color was true to what the box shows and after 3 days of normal shampooing it's all but gone. I can't wait to use it again. I have very fine, thick hair and it didn't dry out my hair. It did do exactly what the directions say and add some texture to those areas. This was not a problem as I had already styled my hair. I would say get your hair the way you want it and then color it with this. I'm not sure how a curling iron or a flat iron would impact it.
