Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great service and phone I've had Jitterbug now for several months and I like it. Some older person like myself who didn't want to fool with a smartphone told me about it. Jitterbug is different from other cell phone providers because I'm able to get on the contacts by dialing 5 and it's easier to navigate for me and for my wife. I've had several conversations with their team and they've all been polite, courteous, and the job got done. It's a good phone with good service. Good for older people. Next step is if I want more services, I'd probably go with one of their smartphones and see how that goes. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Mom Loves the Flip Phone Mom has a bit of a hearing problem, she was unable to hear on the home phone and also on other cell phones we tried. She hears very well on the Jitterbug phone. We were so happy to have found this phone. A friend of mine recommended it. On regular cell phones we tried in the past, she would think that she had hung up or released the call and the call would still be connected but with her jitterbug flip phone we don't have that problem. The main reason we got this phone was because of her hearing. I recommend this phone to anyone with a slight hearing loss.

Finally, a simple flipper phone, with speaker, halfway decent camera and understandable displays that does what it's best at: making phone calls! Not just for seniors although most would welcome the simplicity of it. We bought two after trying 'smartphones' that did far more than we needed and posed security problems - all that information being radio-waved for everyone's access. The flippers are well built, the billing information online is readily available and customer service people are USA-based, speak English that is comprehensible. While we may eventually opt for the smartphone, the Jitterbug Plus flipper at least upgrades our twenty-year-old cell technology!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too complicated for the very old I would recommend this phone for older folks if: 1.You can disable the volume switches - the elderly will grab the phone and run down the ring volume. 2. Hide/disable menu items except the voice mail and phone book or whatever you choose. 3. Allow locking the "SPKR" button on. For those hard of hearing, having the "SPKR" button on is imperative. 4. Yes and No for forward and backward for the menus? Intuitive? No. 5. When you flip the phone open, the screen looks like a touch screen, but isn't. The elderly have to look at the screen and then answer a question yes/no. How about when it says something on the screen, touching it opens the item? No interpretation needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turning it on was like I had used it all my life. I have had the little Jitter Bug for years. Flip it open with one hane, hit yes and am talking. Saw people with their fancy phones drooling all over them selves. I got envious and went to the phone that starts with the letter, that comes after "U". Total Piece of crab both times. Out in the field in 20 below temp. Phone rings, by the time I could get it out and go to the procedure, lot the call. Begged Great Call to take me back, they did. I am now looking at the larger flip phone that has all the features, I was looking for in the two Brand X phones, I tried. Now I'm as happy as if i had good sense.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Couldn't Be More Pleased I have only had my Jitterbug Flip for three weeks, but in that time have learned to love it. It is quite simple to set up and use, and is easy on the eyes for senior citizens like me. The only negative thing I can think of is the fact that when you enter information in your phone book option they do not appear in alphabetical order. But that's a small matter compared to all the good things about this phone. I would, and will recommend this phone to friends of my age group. It simply cannot be beat for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5star works and I'm happy I’m 82 years old and I thought it was time for me to get new cell phone that I could use on hand because mine was already ancient. I do still have my landline but I don’t use it so I have extra minutes and everything with long distance, which I appreciate because everything I was calling on the regular phone was long distance. But now I use my Jitterbug which my daughter had set up for me all the time. I carry it with me because I’m usually on the go. I have no problem as far as charging it or having it ready to use. The payment is also automatically deducted from my checking. Additionally, my kids are happy because they know now that they can get in touch with me anywhere. I’ve had to *5 a couple of times so I know it’s working

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stop working properly I would not purchase this phone again.It worked in the beginning but now the functions are very delayed.When I open the phone it doesn't light upI have to press the arrow at least 3 times for it to move to the next category.It does this chime and I can't get it to stop.I went to customer support to email them but the form wouldn't submit.
