Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great size, but bad speakers Bad sound. I got another jitterbug smart phone from Great Call, but I am not to happy with it. The size is great, but the speakers are very bad. Sound is still bad just like the smart phone I had. You can not hear it. It is no way you and hear this sound unless you have it up to your face. I wish they would fix the sound for senior that can not hear good. I have the sound turn all the way up and still can not hear it. Also the on and off button is in the wrong place. You are always turning it off. The plans for texts and Data is very bad also. It is only good for calls only. They do not give you a discount on old phones. Not fair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new cell phone If you could see my old cell phone (my tech savvy daughters could not figure it out) you would realize how much I appreciate my new cell phone. I keep finding more and more things that I can do with it and am planning on geting rid of my land line when I have this one figured out and feel totally comfortable with it. I have had a steep learning curve to overcome. It has been worth it and I am hoping that this phone will last me a good long time. I also like that the phone bill is so manageable and hardly anyone I know who has a cell phone has such a good rate. This is a big bonus, considering the price I pay for other electronic services. Thanks for a great product and a great service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with product I waited a long time before deciding to get a smart phone. I called great phone from the number posted in AARP Mag. The person answering the phone was great. Made it very simple for this 80 year old to understand. Most important part was being able to try the phone for a month if not satisfied could return with full refund. I have called several times for assistance and each person was helpful and polite. I am very impressed. They gave me some tips to make this learning process easier. Telling my friends to call the Great Call number.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 91 year old mother loves this phone! My 91 year old mother had a land line and used a 15 year old cell phone. She also uses a streaming assisted hearing device. I began researching smart phones and found out the Jitterbug could connect by Bluetooth to her device. When I ordered the phone the person I dealt with was so helpful and kind. We got her all setup and she has learned to text, take pictures, use apps. We dropped the landline!! All of our family is thrilled with the phone, service, and how easy it was to teach my mom to use it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Returned Smartphone I returned the Jitterbug Smart Phone because it appears that GreatCall doesn't have its own network and I would have had to access an available WI-FI network that I trusted. I contacted GreatCall to ask if I could use this phone with my Verizon wireless account. The service person suggested I unpackage the phone and use Home-TAP-Options to check. Since I planned to return the phone if I could not hook into Verizon, I decided to send it back in an unopened condition. It would have been so much easier if this information had been given in the documentation. I would only recommend this phone to a boomer+ who has had previous experience hooking into a WI-FI network using a PC.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but... Overall, I am very satisfied with my Jitterbug Smart phone. However, the text messaging screen for entering a text message is only about a half inch tall and one and one quarter inch wide while there is two to three inches of white space above it. Terrible waste of space and you cannot see you email message without much scrolling. Also each email is limited to 160 spaces so each "text" is kinda small...and you have to pay for all those small texts. And, sadly, I cannot find out how to change my plan. I clearly need less talk time and more text allowance. I have had the phone one day and I am already at 73 texts used out of 100 allowed. Pathetic. But nonetheless I just have to learn to use this phone and determine the best combination of talk, text and data for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not user friendly! Bought this for my elderly father. He has had so much trouble operating it. Many times he doesn't answer his calls because he has inadvertently turned the sound off because of where the sound button is located on the side. Also all the buttons and swipes that have to be done before using the device is quite confusing for him.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Choosing Great Call over the other companies. We decided on the smart phone because of the software. It is so easy for us to understand and logical steps that we can follow. The 5star button is a major plus for us as well, hopefully we will never have to use it. Another major plus is that the customer service is located here in the US, not only providing jobs but they are very easy to understand. Go Great Call go.
