Rated 3 out of 5 by from Haven't had it a Week and Already Have problems I bought this product for my brother and myself as we both live alone. When I activated my brothers I thought it was great, but after only one week the thing has been working 3 of the 7 days. Something has been wrong with this app since the second day. Sync issues, not providing the right information, saying the unit is off when it is on, giving the wrong address for the location. The first couple of days I thought the product was great and it would be a great product if the application would work. I will give it another week and if it doesn't get fixed I will be cancelling it and returning it. Even my unit says that it is not active when it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As Good As It Gets! My mother is a very active 86 year old. I had a real concern about the possibilities of a fall when she was out and about especially not knowing which direction she may have headed. So far, the Lively device has been the answer to all of my concerns. I can stay in top of her activities without being intrusive and know that there is a "team" to offer support if or when it's needed. I have talked with a couple of support staff during the process of setting up the device. They were very knowledgeable and efficient. Speaking with them was like talking with a family friend. Thank you, GreatCall!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I needed it one night and it was on the charger As suggested I keep my Lively Mobile on the charger over night next to my bed. One night, after having the unit for about a month, I needed to get up to use the bathroom. I was drowsy and made a wrong turn and went into the living room. When I turned back to go to the bathroom, my foot caught on something and I fell onto the bare wooden floor in the foyer. I had great difficulty getting up and was unable to get to the 'button'. I should have put the unit on when I got out of bed, so the fault was mine. I wish the unit was equipped with a battery that did not require a daily charge. This would be very helpful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Short Battery Life Originally, I started with the GreatCall Splash and was quite happy with it until I moved and lost my battery charger. That is when I decided to update to the Lively. Big mistake. Although I used the service once and was happy with the quick response, the battery life is a big problem for me. I am still active and on the go quite a bit and travel a lot by myself which is the biggest reason I need this devise. The battery on the Splash device would last almost a week. Be aware that the Lively battery doesn't even last 24 hours before needing recharged. That is a big problem for me and makes it hard for me to use the device. I returned the Lively and replaced the battery charger for my Splash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sales Agent Tonya After a great deal of investigating different medical alert systems I wanted to learn more about Lively. My husband has Parkinson's disease and has fallen several times. I needed some comfort in knowing someone would be available if he had a problem. Representative Tonya was very caring, compassionate and helpful. Answered ALL of my questions plus some. I did not feel it was a "hard sell" tactic or pressured in any way. I did feel comfortable this great call system would meet our medical mobile alert service needs. I am looking forward to receiving our shipment and setting up our on-line information and plan to write another review when we use the system.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thank You I am an active, independent person who broke her foot. Since I lived alone, I was concerned about falling. After doing my research, I chose the Lively Mobile. Good choice. I had a problem twice with the charger. Customer service (who are excellent), sent replacements out. When I was in a wheelchair, they sent it overnight. I'm mobile again....but guess what....I'm STILL wearing it. What a sense of security....it's like having a silent roommate that you don't have to feed and who doesn't steal the remote. The most difficult thing about it, is realizing how easy it is to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great start and evolving to be even better!! This product has provided peace of mind to my 90 year old mother and allows her to continue living a very independent lifestyle. She felt vulnerable when out alone before we got the greatcall splash, but now that she has been using it for almost two months and having gotten used to it she feel completely confident that help is always nearby and also that I am monitoring her movements with the link application on my iPhone. While it took a few calls to tech support to get up and running and the last software update caused us the same grief as others, the important thing is each call was answered promptly by someone speaking good english and knowledgable about their products and how to help us use them. What more could one ask for in today's world of offshore tech support that can barely be understood.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Parents My mother fell in the parking lot and was not able to get up, without help. My dad was there too, but could not get her up. So they called Great call and they sent the calvary. They picked mom up and put a bandage on her elbow. She was fine. Now the down side of any alert. Because she did not need to go to hospital, but ambulance came they want her to pay $400.00. Medicare would not cover...not transported. Secondarily will not cover, as medicare didn't cover. She just needed a hand up, from someone younger than 90.
