Grade A. Vitamins A & D added. Ultra-pasteurized. USDA organic. Our farms produced this milk without antibiotics, added hormones, pesticides or cloning. Get to know our family farmers. Hardy Farms. Organic was a natural choice of Hardy Farms in Maine. Like his father before him, Henry Hardy recognizes the importance of grazing and working in harmony with the land. The fun stuff is getting up in the morning, breathing nice, fresh air and working with the animals. I wouldn't want to do anything else, says Henry. The passion for farming continues on to the next generation. The kids love the cows, they've always shown them at fairs, Henry says. When we go out to pasture, the cows are always at our back pockets looking for affection. It's kind of neat. Nurturing an organic generation. At Horizon, we believe that organic is a healthier choice for all of us. And lately, the idea is really catching on. More and more, our kids are drinking organic milk produced without antibiotics, added hormones, pesticides or cloning. They're also learning about the positive impact organic food has on the environment. The wholesome nutrition of Horizon organic milk is a simple way to help kids flourish. It also plants the seeds for an organic legacy - ensuring clean water and fertile soil not only for our children, but for future generations as well. Certified organic by Quality Assurance International. Made in USA.
Reviews
Horizon Milk, Lowfat, 1% Milkfat 0.5 gl (1.89 lt) is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from IM SOLD Raising registered Beefmaster cattle and being a part of the Agricultural industry, consuming the proper nutrition is something I take pride in as an Agriculturalist. Since I was little I've consumed milk on a daily basis. Whether it was with cereal or by itself. Up until yesterday I've always bought the store value milk (non organic). Mostly I'd drink 2%. Then I realized I wanted more taste so I went to whole milk. Yesterday I went to HEB and bought Horizon Organic whole milk bc I wanted to take better care of my body. When I consumed it for the first time, I noticed a HUGE difference in the taste. By far the best milk I've ever tasted in my life. Organic is the way to go. I'm sold.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Infuriating. Didn't want to give even 1 star Loopholes around the term "organic" doesn't make it truly organic. I am disgusted with the fact that for years I have been purchasing and paying so much extra for a product for my children that I thought was truly organic. I am extremely disapointed that cheap tricks in verbage is how this company chooses to market the products. Disgusting!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from SOMETHING ISN'T RIGHT The last two half gallon cartons of Horizon organic skim milk that I bought have had a liquid INSIDE of the walls of the carton. So on each carton, it seemed that should be more milk left when there was none. When the carton was empty, you could hear the liquid sloshing around between the walls of the carton. Are they trying to raise the profite by putting water between the walls? I tried to contact them, but they wouldn't let me without me giving them my birth date, and wouldn't let me proceed without it. That is private information and I wasn't giving it out. So I'm leaving this review instead.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Smells Like fish oil, my child wont drink it I like how much good stuff is in this milk as far as the ingredints and nutrients goes, but the milk smells like fish. I have wasted $20 in buying multiple half gallon cases of milk and my baby wont drink it. He almost puked when trying this milk. When I warm it up the smell gets even stronger. I would hope I could get a refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product and all the others is full of lies! I am disgusted I drank your milk finding out you barely let your cows out to graze and keep them hooked up to machines in confined spaces. I am also disturbed that you add hormones like DHA and Vitamin D to promote your product with false advertising.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I want all these products. This is great for my family. Such a responsible number of cows and yes, they go to the pasture 3 seasons a year. Kudos for less pesticides. I look forward to helping the small farmers.
