Vitamin D added. Ultra-pasteurized. USDA organic. Our farms produced this milk without antibiotics, added hormones, pesticides or cloning. Get to know our family farmers. Hardy Farms. Organic was a natural choice at Hardy Farms in Maine. Like his father before him, Henry Hardy recognizes the importance of grazing and working in harmony with the land. The fun stuff is getting up in the morning, breathing nice, fresh air and working with the animals. I wouldn't want to do anything else, says Henry. The passion for farming continues on to the next generation. The kids love the cows, they've always shown them at fairs, Henry says. When we go out to pasture, the cows are always at our back pockets looking for affection. It's kind of neat. Nurturing an organic generation. At Horizon Organic, we believe that organic is a healthier choice for all of us. And lately, that idea is really catching on. More and more, our kids are drinking organic milk produced without antibiotics, added hormones, pesticides or cloning. They're also learning about the positive impact organic food has on the environment. The wholesome nutrition of Horizon Organic milk is a simple way to help kids flourish. It also plants that seeds for an organic legacy - ensuring clean water and fertile soil not only for our children, but for future generations as well. Grade A. Certified Organic by Quality Assurance International. Made in USA.

Horizon Milk, Whole, Vitamin D 0.5 gl (1.89 lt) is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never had issues until this week! We have bought Horizon Milk for years. I have a toddler now and we buy way more milk than ever. Recently this week I opened 2 containers of the whole milk only to find at the bottom a (grossly) thick almost yogurt like consistency. I was furious my toddler had been drinking this for a couple of days. I had another container with the same expiration date bought from the same store. I dumped the entire container into a very large glass I had, only to find the same disgusting slop at the bottom of the container. I am VERY hesitant to buy Horizon any longer. I have never had this happen and it was really just disturbing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible This product used to be good when it was fresh pasteurized milk, but now is only available as long-shelf-life ultra-high-temperature processed product that tastes terrible when compared with fresh milk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Brand new half gallon is thick and sour. Bought it this morning. Opened it five minutes ago, poured a tall, alarmingly thick glass of milk. It's whole milk, so I thought maybe it was just extra fatty or something. Smelled the carton and it didn't smell bad like sour milk. Dipped a finger into the glass to taste test. Ohhhhh yeah, it's sour. Tasted like it's on its way to yogurt. Expiration is 7/16/18. Judging from other reviews, I'm concerned there's a problem with the processing (that they're apparently not going to address until there are more serious consequences).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Organic Milk I've had. I've tried many brands and find Horizon Organic Milk the BEST. I love to use it to make my Cuppuccino's in the morning and it makes the creamiest foam. The taste is great too. Please don't confuse there regular organic milks with the DHA added. Some are lumping them all together and they are two different products. I have no problem with the DHA additions to some of there products, because I also take EPA & DHA supplements which really are good for you. I will continue to buy Horizon Organic Whole Milk and I hope you do too!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Weird I've been buying this milk for years now. The 2% lactose free half gallons. This is the second time I've gotten a half gallon and it tastes funny. Doesn't tast spoiled but kind of metal taste and it leaves a weird film on the glass. I know right away something is wrong because my Oreos won't soften. I've had to return them which is a pain in the rear and I end up without milk for my oatmeal. What the heck is going on? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Spoiled milk I bought one of the small containers of chocolate milk for my daughter and the milk spoiled, it had chunks in it. I will not be buying this product again!
