Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what you expect.... I just bought the compleats chicken alfredo and it tastes nothing like chicken alfredo. It tastes similar to clam chowder and contained only 3 pieces of penne pasta. It is filled with tons of chicken and is basically soup what i'm eating. I'm very disappointed since I only have this as an option to eat today. It is nothing like the picture and does not even taste remotely close to alfredo sauce. I love Hormel items but this item in particular won't be coming home with me again. Definitely needs pasta and less sauce.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NO PASTA!! I am a long time Hormel Compleats consumer. Typically I have found them tasty, but mostly convenient. The last 3 consecutive Chicken Alfredo's I have bought have had no pasta at all in the container! So much for the Alfredo!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What Happened Hormel? Hormel dinners used to be very good, but lately... I have been buying Hormel Compleats dinners for years and they were Great and a Great value. Recently I've bought four(4) Alfrado dinners. Two(2) of which I returned to the store because they looked like something may have happened to them in shipping. They looked like they had Gelatain on top and looked descusting, even the cashier at the store said they looked "Nasty." The second Two(2) wre ok to eat, but they looked like Hormel forgot to put enough pasta in them. The "Cheese sause(?)" was so runny and the amount of pasta and chicken was no where close to what it hs allways been. I will buy one more and if that one is not up to what I would concider Hormel standards I will no longer buy the Alfrado type dinners. I also purchased a Beef Tip dinner and it had NO meat in it at all and it looked funny (not the HaHa type) so at the time I just through it away. Guess I should have taken it bck to the store also. It was the first one that showed any sign of a problem and I figured 'Oh well everyone messes up once in a while.' Now I think they may have a real Quality Control problem. The many others I buy that are just meat and mashed potatos with gravy seem fine except the meat is getting thinner. The Beef Pot Roast and Chicken Breast has gotten to the point that they are about half the thickness of what they used to be. It's gotten to the point that they are no longer a value just a waste of money. I realize prices have gone up over the years, but really come on. The cost of the dinners has gone up as well so why aren't they as good of quality as they hve been in the past. I don't usually search out a web site and write a review, but Hormel has been one of my staples for years and now they are not preforming. I also wish the pictures on the package looked close to what the dinners actually look like once you heat them and remove the cover, they don't at all. I am including two pictures of the meals I have spoken about so you can judge for yourself. Thank you for reading this long review. Sincerely, S. Smith P.S. Well after trying about twelve times this site would not upload either photo that I took, I am sorry. I guess you'll have to take my word for the problems I've had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous!! I absolutely LOVE this one. I can eat it every day for lunch (brunch) with some cottage cheese and have all my proteins. It's awesome and delicious. If you're watching your sodium, maybe it's not for you. It is most definitely for me!! Yum!
