Rated 3 out of 5 by from Change in the recipe??? I have been a fan of Hormel chili with and without beans for years. This year I noticed something different in the chili. At first I thought it was just one can but have noticed since that the cause has a different look. Don't know what it is but I don't like it as much. Sorry, it doesn't seem to have the same flavor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our Son Jimmy wants 100 cans for Christma! Jimmy loves Original Hormel Chili with Beans, he eats a can a day, he would eat more but we limit him! He put it on his Christmas list! I am looking for all the help I can get to make his wish come true!! I am building a Christmas tree out of the cans I get! I asked the doctor if this was safe every day she said yes, Great Protein for a almost 9 year old on December 18th, he of course wants Chili for his Special Birthday Dinner! I'm building a Hormel Chili Team, donations coming in! Merry Christmas from Franklinville NJ

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Changed it again!! Back in the late 80's or early 90's, you gave in to the pressure from the health conscious community and reduced the amount of fat from 27g per serving to 9g. it took a while, but we adjusted. I had a can today. First bite! I knew something was different. Not only has the fat content gone from 9g per serving to 12 (yay), but it has a sweetness in the taste and alot more chili powder than before. Why can't R&D just leave it alone?!?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from something is different not had the chili for a long time, i make my own,but i always loved it--in fact i think i was served this chili in coney island's steeple chase park in 1952----but something is different.--more tomato-y?----something is missing--maybe less salt---tastes ok, but not what i have always known. at least i won't have any cravings for one of my comfort foods anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great item to keep on hand It came down to a situation where a 38 oz can or Hormel Chili with Beans was the only food I had available to eat for a whole day, and bottom line, it worked. Thanks Hormel for making this good-sized package. I recommend keeping this item on hand. This canned chili tastes pretty good with decent-quality meat, add some hot sauce if you want.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What Happened! I purchased a can of my favorite Chili and found a chili that I did not recognize or enjoy at all. I eneded up throwing it away with much disapointment. Whatever Hormel did, please change it back!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stuck in the Can !!! Last Saturday night, like every other Saturday we ate Hormel Chili, but this time it was horrible when we opened the can to pour it in the pot to heat a third of the can would not pour out. We tried scooping it out but, it wouldn't budge; we eventually took a knife and cut it into sections and carved it out of the can. When we finally got it out of the can and heated it, the meat in the chili was in round long chunks!! Please fix this, this is very unexceptable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not unless you go back to the old receipe I bought a can of my favorite chili Hormel with beans. I did not notice the can looked a little different. When I opened it and poured it in a bowl I noticed there is onions in it. I also noticed there is what looks like a jalapeno pepper on the can. This is no longer my favorite chili it is way too spicy and not near as good as the plain old stuff that you used to have. If you don't go back to the old recipe you have lost a long time customer.
