Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's good but....not liking the skin peeling in my mouth! I like this product bc I feel my teeth and gums are cleaner but it has a negative side effect. I rinse before bed only to wake up with a thick white film in my mouth. It's almost like membrane or skin. It was so bad this morning that I literally peeled it off my teeth. It's become concerning to me. I just read some of the reviews on this site and others and there are multiple people having this same problem. But listerines only response is that its not typical and to please call. I want to know why this is occurring and what is this film? I am calling my dentist tomorrow. Anyone else having the same problem please email me srupple@yahoo.com

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but DIfferent I just bought this product over the original Listerine because I love this idea of "Ultra Clean". What I really like about this product is that it does exactly what is promised, it keeps my mouth super clean all day! A lot of reviews say it tastes awful, but I think it tastes fine, it is just really strong. One thing I don't like about this product was that the first few days my mouth felt chalky, like it dried out my mouth or something. It was really strange, but it seems to have improved over the course of using it this week. Overall I like the product and what it has to offer, as long as you can get past the initial strange effects of it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Listerine Ultraclean and toothpase containing Proxide do not mix. I have used Listerine Cool Mint for years and it is great. But the other day I bought some more Listerine and thought it was Cool Mint and it was Ultraclean. I always rinse my mouth with Listerine then floss and then brush. The toothpaste I use is Arm & Hammer Complete Care with Baking Soda and Peroxide. After rinsing my mouth with Listerine Ultraclean and flossing, I proceeded to brush my teeth. Wow, I found out in a hurry that anything with Baking Soda or Peroxide in it does not mix with Ultraclean. It felt like I had put acid in my mouth. There should be a warning not to mix the two. I returned the Listerine Ultraclean for a refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disgusting I, too, bought a 2 pack at Costco, thinking it was the cool mint that I always purchase. I knew immediately after trying that something was different & WRONG. Gone was the fresh clean feeling and in it's place a mouthwash with a chalky filmy feeling and an awful overly saccharin sweet aftertaste. I suggest taking this off the market or DRASTICALLY changing the packaging so that we are not fooled into buying this! I am now stuck with 2 liters of the nasty stuff. More choices are not necessarily the right marketing tool dear Listerine people. I don't want to have to search through 12 kinds of mouthwash just to find the one I like!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hate the "New" Ultraclean Cool Mint Just like many others, I am a long time fan of Listerine Cool Mint and bought it regularly at Costco. Needing more, I recently purchased the large two-pack of the new Ultraclean Cool Mint, assuming it would have the same taste as the old and maybe work even better. I HATE the way it feels in my mouth as I'm rinsing and the taste seems to linger in a very negative way all day long. No matter what I eat or drink, the aftertaste lingers.I even wake up in the morning with the aftertaste, having used the Ultraclean before bed. I will not be buying another bottle of the Ultraclean and hope the old Cool Mint stays on the market.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New formula is AWFUL Please bring back the old cool mint formula. Picked up this new ultra formula at Costco and immediately noticed a difference for the worse. Left my mouth tasting sour and did not freshen my breath at all. Thought maybe it was just me but my husband experienced the same thing. We both dispise the taste and feel. My husband, a dentist, compared the new formula to an old cool mint bottle we had and the only difference is sucralose. Please remove this unwanted sweetener from your Listerine. It is so bad we will be switching to Crest or Colgate and my husband will no longer be able to use this product at his practice or recommend it to patients if it does not change.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What the heck happened to Listerine? I always buy the Costco 2 pack of Listerine. I immediately noticed a difference in the smell (this time) before even tasting it. This Ultraclean stuff is horrible! It leaves a bad aftertaste and doesn't taste anything like Listerine!!! This is going back to Costco. Hopefully, I can find the old formula/flavor. I don't understand why companies what to mess with something that works. Why change the flavor?! I've seen responses to other bad reviews that say "this isn't typical, call our customer service number". That's bunk. This flavor is disgusting... period. There isn't anything else to discuss.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If it ain't broke... I noticed the new label at my grocery store, but thought nothing of it until I rinsed my mouth that evening. At first, I thought the weird smell was in my imagination. But then the weird taste made me question what I had eaten that day. Was something messing with my tastebuds?? After a few days of hesitant mouth-washing, I decided to look in to it. I will be buying the original, tasty, refreshing, good-aftertaste-having version of this so-called mouthwash from now on. I thought I had picked a bottle from a bad batch, but it looks like the new product IS the bad batch.
