Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is amazing- seriously amazing. My dry and frizzy hair has a tendency to split and you can actually see it when it first starts where its got that lighter tiny section at the end of the strand and it looks horrible. I've used this stuff two days now, the first time I just wet my hair and put it in and 5 minutes later rinsed it out. The second time, I used the shampoo in the TR5 line, rinsed, and then put in the balm and left it on for about an hour to do a deep treatment. Oh My God. Best stuff ever!!! My hair is hydrated, the frizzyness has settled down, and best of all the split ends and the starts to the new strands are gone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this because I recently made a major color change to my hair. Going from dark brown to mainly blond. I wanted to really take care of my hair so I got the damage erasing balm. Now I new going in my hair was slightly damaged from the chemicals but prior to color I had really healthy uncolored hair. So the damage wasn't that significant. But when I used this product I followed the directions and if anything my hair was drier then before with way more knots to brush out. I have been using the Loreal Ever Pure Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner and it is pretty true to what it says it does. But the Damage-erasing balm doesn't stack up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This is probably one of the worst products I have ever used. I have light blond hair which I have bleached. My hair is in very good shape for being so light. When I first used this product, I liked it, but there was nothing really different about it than any other condition treatment I have used. After awhile of using it, probably 3 weeks, my hair started breaking.. A lot, more than it ever has. I do not blow dry, flat iron, or curl my hair .. Ever. Long story short, I was extremely disappointed because there has been a lot of products from L'Oreal Paris that are great, but products work differently on everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wasn't surprise that TOTAL REPAIR 5 worked. I was totally taken over by how little you need. My hair has been color for over 25 years, from L'OREAL. But with all the weather elements, you will need L'OREAL`TOTAL REPAIR5 I swear that you will love it as much as I do. L'oreal don't ever change this wonderful product. I'd hate to hunt ya down, lol. Love all your products too. Did you ever think of making the MALL circus. Showing American just how far L'OREAL has come. To take a crew of experts on the road, I'd be your first customer. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The L'Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm is one of the best products I've used for my hair. I have very dry, coarse, mid-length hair that has been damaged by heat and color treatments. My hair texture was feeling really dry and nasty and hard. I heard about this product and decided to give it a try. This treatment is AMAZING! it really hydrated my hair and made it so soft. I left it I for an hour and fifteen minutes. I used the Shampoo and Conditioner also. I love these products and can't get enough of them! I highly recommend it! If you have really damaged hair I suggest sleeping with it and then rinsing off in the morning!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works - eventually. My hair is curly and very fine and so it is easily heat damaged. With my recent haircut I’ve been straightening it a lot lately and my curl pattern was messed up. I was excited to try this product for testing because my hair really needed the help and the product claims that it will repair your hair in one use. I did notice a difference after the first use and great improvement in the second use however it wasn’t until after several more uses that my curl pattern began to return. I generally prefer more natural remedies but I will use the rest of this product because it does work - eventually. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works! I have long bleached blonde hair that was drying and felt terrible halfway through. I am not used to this because normally my hair is always soft and silky. So in desperation I started using The restoring shampoo and conditioner, switching to the total repair Extreme as I noticed better results. But my hair still needed something more. So I tried total repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm till the bottle was used up. It was amazing!!! It really did as it advertised of repairing up to 1 year of damage. I loved it! Leave it on for at least 5 minutes before rinsing and don't throughly rinse, just lightly rinse. Use it twice a week too. It's great! My hair is soft and silky again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised! I love it. I have natural coarse/kinky hair with some damage from heat and coloring in the past. My hair usually felt limp and coarse. After my first use of this product, my hair was soft and STAYED soft for several days after. I experienced less damage and my hair stands had better definition. I beg that they never change or discontinue this product. I also appreciate how affordable it is. My only question is I am wondering if this is equal to a protein treatment or not? Regardless, i am hooked on this product and highly recommend it. My only regret is that I didn't try this conditioner sooner.
