Natural Instincts Non-Permanent Color, Pecan Medium Golden Brown 18 1 application is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 846.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smaller Bottles? I have been using this product for over 10 years. Until recently, one bottle was adequate. Now, I get about 3/4 through the process, and I run out of dye. (And I am only concentrating on my roots!) I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, but when reading other reviews, it sure seems the bottle has less dye. So today, I had to buy two packages for one session. If you did decrease the amount, PLEASE go back to the amount it was! Also, please give us back the old conditioner... the one in the clear/orange tube. I was able to use it all month long and loved it! The root touch-up packet is terrible.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from New formula doesn't work Why would you change a formula that had been working for years. I color my wife's hair and Natural Instincts worked fine for years. The new formula doesn't color as well and then having to use the color refresh at two weeks and it still doesn't cover as effectively. You had a winner so why did you want to turn it into a loser. Found an old box of the Hazelnut and it worked great -hair felt good and coverage was great. Is there any way to get some boxes of the old formula or can you point me to someplace that has a product similiar to your old formula? This new formula was a bad idea, kind of like when Coke tried their new formula. Bad idea.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bring Back The Original Product I've been using Natural Instincts for more than 10 years and have recommended it to many friends and aquaintences. No more. I used to love the conditioner, but it has been changed, it's still OK but not as good as the original. The color refresh turned my grey "crayon yellow", so I throw it away now. Grey coverage used to be easy, now instead of 10 minutes I leave the product on for 40 minutes...probably not good for me or my hair. Please bring back more of the golden colors (yes, they're a little red) as they leave more of a shine than the flat colors. The original product was easy to use, covered grey very well, and hair grew out very naturally.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Refresher Conditioner Due to developing a sensitivity to permanent color (Nice 'n Easy#, I had to start using the semi permanent #Natural Instincts). The color is ok and covers ok...could be better though but that goofy refresher packet is awful. It made my new growth of gray fake yellowish. It was also very inconvenient to use since I usually wash and rinse my hair in the shower even when coloring. Who wants to mess around in the shower for 10 minutes with gloves on? I am disappointed in Natural Instincts for this reason. I was a Nice 'n Easy customer for years and years and years, but doubt I will continue with Natural Instincts unless it developes improved changes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WHY DISCONTINUED??? I have used Spiced Tea for at least 10 years. I LOVE this color, which is why I have been using it religiously now for more than 10 years. And it seems like over the last 6 months to a year I can no longer find Spiced Tea. So, I did a web search to find out if Clairol has discontinued the color. And apparently it has. I have tried the "new" auburn colors that are now available from Natural Instincts and they do not produce the same color and are not nearly as pretty. I used to get tons of compliments on my hair color with the Spiced Tea. I am so depressed. Clairol you HAVE to bring this color back please don't ignore such loyal customers!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed - Will Not Use P&G Hair Products Again Have used NI - Pecan - Med Golden Brown for years. Am EXTREMELY disappointed in the new formula. The root coverage is poor, lighter than usual, and gets lighter each day. Color Revitalizer is hard to spread, turns scalp orange and doesn't wash off easily. My roots turned brassy orange. Hair texture is not the same, not as shiny and natural looking as before. Horrible, awful new product. I will not use a P&G product to replace this formerly good product. After reading all the bad reviews, apparently P&G wants loyalty from their customers but feels none towards them. This product was poorly designed, has poor performance, and replaces a product that was excellent at both. Says a lot about P&G!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than salon color I've spent hundreds of dollars getting color done at salons, and I've never really been happy: Dry hair, fades quickly, never the right shade. I asked a woman I work with where she got her color done because it always looked so shiny and natural. What a surprise to discover that her secret was Natural Instincts. I tried it for the first time the other day, and the results far exceed those I've received at expensive salons. Soft, shiny, natural. My hair is naturally dark brown, but I used the medium brown because I know my hair absorbs the color quickly and always goes dark. If you don't feel that one box goes far enough, buy two boxes - it's cheap.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never, Again! I bought this product hoping to get a very natural looking hair color, and I followed all the instructions, and my hair turned out orange. I didn't know what to do, i had orange hair! When i was waiting for the whole 10-15 minutes it looked like nothing was going to happen wrong, but when i came out of the shower my hair had this orange tint to it. In the light it was worse. And to add to all this distress, it never washed out completely, and some of my hair even turned light blond, and only like two strips, my hair looks funky! I thought, well it will eventually fade but no i was wrong! I wouldn't use this product again, I am very disappointed.
