Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not pleased! I've never had a problem with acne before, rarely even had a pimple until this summer. 20 years old and all of a sudden developed acne. Worst thing ever! I never even wanna leave my house and I hate all the make up I have to pile on every day. Anyway my moms always trusted neutrogena so have I, so I found this product did some research and apparently it was really good. Well not for me. I've used it for months now and it makes my skin horribly dry even tho I moisturize like crazy and has not helped with my acne AT ALL maybe even makes it worse. Not a good product for my skin what so ever I'm sadden over this it's just too bad! Not happy!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Red bumps on my skin I got this wash because i’ve heard good things about the company but never ever in my life have i experiences he results this wash gave me. I started using it and it has been only three days and my skin is super itchy and has red bumps when i feel my skin it feels very dry. I stopped using it as next week I have an big event and last thing I want is bad skin. Now i don’t know why this product has done this to the skin, i have used neutrogena products before and it was fine but for some reason this didn’t work out. Also on the bottle it says the wash it was normal to comboindation skin and I am that skin type but cleaner didn’t work for me. Very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from RUINED MY FACE.... completely This is absolutely the worst face wash i have ever used. I tried this in hopes to clear up my problem areas on my cheeks, and it did the EXACT opposite. Three times after using it, i got a RED RING round my face where i placed it. This product dried my face out so much that I am literally flaking, cant put any product on my skin without it BURNING and it made my acne worse. I got little white bumps everywhere. Feeling my face makes feels like bumpy dry road. I NEVER had sensitive skin until i started using this. DO NOT USE. This is so terrible i have to go to a dermatologist, nothing over the counter will fix how messed up this made my face. This should not be allowed to sell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A True Essential This is the best. At first, I didn’t follow the instructions either & my skin burned & was dry. Honestly, if you want to love this, use it right. Wet your face. Put half a pump of product on your hands. Wet your hands & lather that stuff real good. Massage it to your wet face for about 30 sec. Rinse with cold water. This face wash makes my skin extremely soft & it helps keep my skin at bay. I’m not 100% sure about the “preventing acne” aspect of this product, but it does really help at fighting zits. This is really worth giving a shot. It’s the #1 dermatologist recommend wash for a reason, right?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My skin is irritated, tight and it stings I used this product for a few days, and it worked pretty well with no problems, and made my skin soft. But after those few days, my face began to burn and sting after I used it. And not the subtle, dismissible burning, but the kind of burning that made me feel like someone was actually holding a lighted match against my skin. Also, my skin now burns whenever I put on my moisturizer, and my skin is flaky, tight, dry and very, very red, as if I finished running a marathon. Did it help with the acne? I have to admit, it did help my pimples get smaller, but they didn't completely go. I would not recommend this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Solved one problem, caused another This is a hard product to review.. I noticed all summer my skin has been breaking out in acne for the first time ever. When googling for inexpensive solutions, this was recommended. I bought it from my local drugstore and within literally three days of using it, my acne was completely gone! So that's where the good part of my review comes from. I also stopped using it after then, I'll explain why, and the acne never came back. So after using it for three days, my skin just starts PEELING. Like it's completely dry and white flakey. In my opinion, it's better than having visible red acne and oily skin but still unfortunate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Control I'm a teenager and I think this stuff is great, but it can overdry a bit at times, I'll admit. I use it everyday when I get out of bed and right before I go to bed in the evening and I've used it for almost a year now. Granted, it didn't COMPLETELY get rid of all my acne and I still have some now. However, it's great for controlling how much oil is on my skin and that's what's important to me right now, even though it doesn't get rid of all the blemishes. It reduces them, which is better than nothing. On the other hand, just one bottle lasts me almost TWO months, sometimes more! The value is truly amazing, if you ask me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it Wow, I have been buying expensive cleansers for acne and this one actually works even better. The only downfall is that it can be a little drying, but for me it took about 1 month of use until I noticed. Also bear in mind that I use a salicylic toner and spot treat with benzoyl peroxide. My skin is pretty oily and needs a stronger regimen. If you have young skin like in your teens just use once a day, make sure you spend about 1 full minute cleansing. Studies suggest most people only cleanse for 10 seconds...then rinse rinse rinse! I worry that some people with the reactions might not be rinsing enough and that with dry you out and irritate!! Anywho, I love this cleanser, A++++++++
