Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not pleased! I've never had a problem with acne before, rarely even had a pimple until this summer. 20 years old and all of a sudden developed acne. Worst thing ever! I never even wanna leave my house and I hate all the make up I have to pile on every day. Anyway my moms always trusted neutrogena so have I, so I found this product did some research and apparently it was really good. Well not for me. I've used it for months now and it makes my skin horribly dry even tho I moisturize like crazy and has not helped with my acne AT ALL maybe even makes it worse. Not a good product for my skin what so ever I'm sadden over this it's just too bad! Not happy!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My skin is irritated, tight and it stings I used this product for a few days, and it worked pretty well with no problems, and made my skin soft. But after those few days, my face began to burn and sting after I used it. And not the subtle, dismissible burning, but the kind of burning that made me feel like someone was actually holding a lighted match against my skin. Also, my skin now burns whenever I put on my moisturizer, and my skin is flaky, tight, dry and very, very red, as if I finished running a marathon. Did it help with the acne? I have to admit, it did help my pimples get smaller, but they didn't completely go. I would not recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Control I'm a teenager and I think this stuff is great, but it can overdry a bit at times, I'll admit. I use it everyday when I get out of bed and right before I go to bed in the evening and I've used it for almost a year now. Granted, it didn't COMPLETELY get rid of all my acne and I still have some now. However, it's great for controlling how much oil is on my skin and that's what's important to me right now, even though it doesn't get rid of all the blemishes. It reduces them, which is better than nothing. On the other hand, just one bottle lasts me almost TWO months, sometimes more! The value is truly amazing, if you ask me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it Wow, I have been buying expensive cleansers for acne and this one actually works even better. The only downfall is that it can be a little drying, but for me it took about 1 month of use until I noticed. Also bear in mind that I use a salicylic toner and spot treat with benzoyl peroxide. My skin is pretty oily and needs a stronger regimen. If you have young skin like in your teens just use once a day, make sure you spend about 1 full minute cleansing. Studies suggest most people only cleanse for 10 seconds...then rinse rinse rinse! I worry that some people with the reactions might not be rinsing enough and that with dry you out and irritate!! Anywho, I love this cleanser, A++++++++

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Burned Me I got this hoping it would clear up my awful acne, and it did... For like 2 days all was well... and then my parade of happiness was rained on. HARD. The skin under my chin started to hurt and become red and irritated. First it started on the left and spread completely to the right. My chin was really noticeably red. This happened on days 3 and 4 of using the cleanser. Also on day 4, my skin started flaking off and NO amount of makeup could cover it up. Not only had this product burned my skin!!! It also made me look absolutely AWFUL. The only reason i gave this thing two stars is because it made my skin look like a champion for 2 days.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good for the price So before I used this product I had the grapefruit foaming cleanser. I absolutely loved it!! It made my skin really soft and clean, but also smelt amazing and pretty much cleared up my acne. So when I ran out and went to the store to get more it was gone. So I decided to buy this product because it was a good price and I saw a commercial about it. So in the the first couple of days using it, my skin felt fine. Clean and fresh. But after one week everything started going down hill!! My skin is getting so dry that its cracking and peeling and the sides of my nose, mouth, and chin. When I touch my face I can feel flakes!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's not meant to cure I've been using this product for over ten years. I've never had an issue with it, but then I never expected it to "cure" my acne. I like it because, for me, it washes very well. I feel clean after using it without feeling too dried out. I also use other products like toner, benzoyl peroxide and a good moisturizer to help manage the acne. My own acne issues have changed overtime and I will also admit occassionally I felt the product had failed me. Then I realized that the wash was not the primary culprit. Hormones, medications, seasons, age, can all affect acne. So, I keep using this product and feel satisfied with the job it does.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doesn't really do much What I've experienced with this is that, it doesn't do much with my skin. I put it on twice in the bath, come out with dry skin but thats about it. No pimples removed, and it seems to consistently not work for my pimples at all. I don't understand, Neutrogena is selling a product thats supposed to clear up my pimples but it seems to be doing less than nothing. After a while my pimples pop due to rubbing a towel against my face, or they get really big and don't go away until after weeks, supposedly how long it takes a normal pimple to go away. Thus i don't understand why you're selling us a product that basically does nothing except dry my skin.
