Neutrogena Sunscreen, SPF 60+ 3 fl oz (88 ml) is rated 2.4 out of 5 by 140.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Causes a rash Like many of the other reviewers, this product gives me a terrible rash like any regular sunscreen. Neutrogena's previous product, however, as also mentioned by reviewers, worked great. As I recall, the older product contained only zinc oxide as the main active ingredient. The new product, however, adds titanium oxide in addition to the zinc. I've tried other "sensitive skin" sunscreens, which also have both titanium and zinc, and they give me a rash too, so I suspect it's the titanium. Unfortunately I have not been able to find any brand of sensitive sunscreen that does not contain titanium. It is very frustrating because I can't ever wear any sunscreen now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burns our face to tears My husband and I purchased this for a hike, upon applying this to our face, we both (with sensitive skin type) felt a slow tingling into burning sensation. It burned so badly, it genuinely felt like we were having a chemical peel or some sort of acid on our face. Our cheeks were red and aching after (what felt like forever) trying to wash the product off. Afterwards my husbands skin was red for a few weeks. Unfortunately for my skin, I'm still struggling to heal it again, my skin just isn't the same way like it was before, I don't know what the heck happened... I just hope others with sensitive skin, purchase this item with caution :/

Rated 1 out of 5 by from OMG! I remembered that the regular formula Neutrogena sunscreen had caused a bad reaction on my skin last year so I thought I wised up and purchased the "sensitive skin sunscreen" by Neutrogena. O.M.G. Within a day after using this "sensitive" sunscreen its like every hour I have to reapply cortisone to give my skin some type of relief from itching. This product had me believing that I had small pox because of the amount of small bumps that appeared. I had to cut my nails in order not to further scratch up my already irritated skin. NEVER AGAIN. I honestly would have preferred a sunburn. :-(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made my face feel like it was on fire I purchased this sunscreen for my honeymoon to Hawaii and every time I used it it made my face feel like it was on fire and it stung really bad. My husband had the same effect from it. It made my skin break out, painfully dry, and like others mentioned it also made my face look white for a long time after applying it. I also burned on my face despite reapplying the sunscreen as directed by the instructions on the bottle. I never tried this SPf 30 version people keep mentioning in the reviews, but if Neutrogena brought it back I think it is the only sun care product by the brand that I would try again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please bring back SPF 30 SPF60 Burns & Irritates I just found this site because I was looking all over the internet for the SPF 30 version. I used that for years in desert sun and it was wonderful. No irritation. I thought I was alone in feeling the burning from the SPF60, and the subsequent red, scaly skin on my arms after using it. But here I see it appears to be a normal negative reaction. I will never use the SPF60. It burns instantly and accentuates red sensitive spots on my skin. And it makes my skin more sensitive to wind burn. Dry wind is common in the desert. Please bring back the mild SPF 30. And thanks for being courageous enough to allow us to publish real results of the new product in public. Better than most clinical trials.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Highly allergenic product This product should not be classified as a "sensitive skin" one. It contains, among other "inactive" ingredients, methylisothiazolinone - which is a highly allergenic ingredient, and butyloctyl salicylate. There should be a warning that it shouldn't be used by those allergic to salicylates including aspirin. Please bring back the spf30 sensitive skin product I (and others) have used for years. It's the only one I can use, and I need it for a serious sun reaction year round. I'm really disappointed in Neutrogena for putting us through this again. I was so relieved when it became available last year. But I am running out of my supply. If you can't make it available in stores, at least continue to market it online. It's obviously very important for many of us.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from bring back the old Sensitive Skin Suncreen Lotion I have dry, very sensitive skin. The old version of Sensitive Skin Suncreen Lotion 30 is the only sunscreen I've been able to tolerate for years. From reading the other reviews, it sounds like other people have had the same experience. This product doesn't provide the same level of moisture as the old one. It fact it has a weird texture that makes my skin feel tight. Plus so many of the newer Neutrogena products have fragrance, which for many of us is the problem that irritates our sensitive skin. Please bring back the older, simpler formula.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good protection with zero skin irritation I have this far only found two sunscreens that don't burn and irritate my skin after using every day. Zero issues at all with this. I've found if you put it on under makeup letting it fully dry I had good results. I didn't have a greasy film or any white cast. I really love the zinc oxide bases in this. I was really suprised this one was not rated higher. If you have sensitive skin this is for you. I will defiantly purchase again.
