Nice N Easy Permanent Color, Natural Blue Black 124, 1 application is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 29688.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great color I have thick dry long hair with probably 25% grays now and needed a hair color product that would cover my grey roots and blend the mess of colors in my hair from past tries that turned out bad. I was pleasantly surprised that this color totally blended the red brassiness, and hot roots mixed with grey I had going on and gave me even natural not red color since I naturally am brunette. I am really pleased with this product and have found this shade does the trick keeps the red out and gives natural looking brunette color with a little touch of different tones. Thanks a bunch Clairol!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 6 years going strong I've been dyeing my hair red for about 10 years, in the first 10 years I probably tried every shade that was available at the time before I settled on Nice 'n' Easy 108. It's the perfect balance between strawberry blond and (brown/purple) auburn for my (very) fair skin. When I moved it got harder to find so I would either order it online or, when I found a reliable store, get it there. Now I order a 3 pack online from Amazon because I just can't get it in my neighborhood, but so many people think I'm a natural redhead, I'm not about to risk changing colors unless there's an emergency. I expect I'll be loyal to this shade until I make a drastic change to blonde or brunette!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AWFUL!! AWFUL! AWFUL! Dyed my hair yesterday with the same product I have used for the last 5 years, but now it is foam. The foam is messy and stains your skin. I had gotten so good with the bottle that I hardly spill a drop, but with the foam I ruined the paint on the bathroom wall, as a big glob ran down it by accident. But the very worst is that the foam color is NOT TRUE. I just used med brown and am sitting here a day later with nearly black hair! I have washed it 5 times now. I am so angry! I just called the Clairol phone # but they are shut down for the evening. How can they be this irresponsible! DO not buy or use this product unless you want to look like a laughing stock!!!!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not use unless you want to look like Morticia! I have naturally dark brown hair, I just wanted to cover a few greys. I was hoping for a nice dark brown, ergo my choice of darkest brown. I ended up looking like Morticia from the Addams family!! My parents couldn't stop staring at me and saying "It's SO blue-black, you look awful". That's great, just what I wanted to hear. I cried, and then I went to the store to buy a kit called Color Oops, and that lifted some of the black out. My hair is severely damaged from doubling up on hair treatment too quickly. I won't be using Nice and Easy any more. If I knew how to get a refund, I would do it. Unless you want black hair, do not use this product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BLACK! I have been coloring my hair as long as I can remember. For the past few years I had been visiting a salon to have highlights put in my hair. In November 2009 I went back dark. I had always had a darker brown hair with natural red highlights. I let me hair grow out and in May I colored my hair using Clairol Nice and Easy Natural Dark Brown. This time I wanted something a little darker so I decided to go with JUST ONE SHADE darker! And now my hair is BLACK! There are no varying tones. My hair is simply jet black! I am bvery disappointed and I HIGHLY suggest to Clairol to rename this product as it does not turn your hair Brown it turns it Black!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Loving the Foam! I have purchased Nice 'n Easy for years, at least eight times per year. The range of shades I use is always within the reddish-brown category. I was excited about trying the new Foam formula, so I bought it as soon as I saw it. VERY unhappy. It didn't foam the way it was supposed to, despite me shaking it almost continuously, and the smell is awful! My small children actually commented that my hair smelled funny! I thought it was far more messy than the old formula and will not buy it again...I HOPE I don't have to go to another brand. Not a foam fan! I don't know that I have ever been as disappointed in a beauty product. :( Please give me the old product back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, Shiny Color. I have been coloring my hair for years, bouncing from brand to brand, and trying every color known to man. I finally decided that I wanted to give black a turn, and chose this product. My hair color before was a medium brown, dull in color, about shoulder-length. I have fair skin and hazel eyes. After using this product, my hair is so pretty! It's definitely my favorite shade thus far, and incredibly shiny... not only that, but softer and somehow feels thicker, bouncier... A welcome change to my usually limp and fine hair! I would reccomend this shade of black to anyone because it is very natural looking and stunning as well. Everyone loves my hair now! Thank you Clairol (:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from natural darkest brown, where have u gone? Missing you I love 121A natural darkest brown. I see people are complaining about how dark it is but they must have not done alot of checking against other brands before coloring. Ive tried different colors in the past. This color is basically considered "soft black" in other brands. I love it though.its not an actual black.when your hair gets hit by the sun, it shows the dark brown with beautiful red highlights. My hubby loves my hair and i love this color! My problem is, i cant find it lately in any of my local stores. All the stores seem to be going to the nice and easy foam. But the foam; (as easy as it is to apply!) ive realized after using it twice now; isnt as dark.very disappointing.I dont really want to have to start buying online but i may just have to start.
