Rated 1 out of 5 by from New Pine-Sol Scent is NOT Good I have loved Pine-Sol for years. I loved the scent and all of the things you can clean with it. It brought me comfort when I was homesick because it made me feel like I was back at home. Well that is all gone now with this new scent. The new scent to me smells like pine needles mixed with urine and cheap male cologne. PLEASE bring back the actual ORIGINAL scent!!!! I will no longer be buying Pine-Sol until the scent is changed back. This is really upsetting because I would choose to buy it over other necessities because I just HAD to have it, no matter what! But now the choice has been forced upon me to not buy it. Please, bring back the original scent. Thank you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WHAT HAS HAPPENED??? I have used Pine Sol for well over 40 years just as my Mother did. The other day I went to purchase more and something has seriously changed with the smell. I have always used only the "Original" scent. It smells absolutely horrible and smells NOTHING like Pine Sol. Have they changed the formula without telling anyone?!? I took mine back to the store and then tried several other places and they all smelled horrible!!! Can someone PLEASE explain this to me. If this continues I will no longer buy Pine Sol and I hate feeling like that towards a product I have always loved using all these years. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loved the smell of clean!!! I have been using pinesol for many years. I particularly love the blue. However, the last time I purchased it I did not realize that pinesol had changed their formula for the scent. I was so disappointed. I do not like the new "sparking wave" smell of the blue pinesol. I loved my old scent. So I tried the original pinesol and was shocked to find out they had changed the scent of it also. It doesn't turn white when you pour it in like in the olden days and the scent is not near as strong as it use to be. Please consider changing back. When a product is already GREAT!!! It does not need to be improved upon. Thanks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product RUINED.BRING BACK THE PINE!!! I have used PineSol for 48 years as did my mother. Why have you ruined the product? Last month I purchased a bottle and immediately upon opening I knew you have changed the product and not for the better. Now it reeks of a horribly strong patchouli scent and it does not clean well at all. After cleaning the bathroom, we had to open the windows and leave the house for hours. The horrible smell lasted for days. I returned to the store and purchased another bottle of "original" and the same thing happened. I WILL NEVER USE THIS PRODUCT again! I have read many of the reviews here and can conclude that you have lost a lot of your customers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do NOT Like New and Improved Version I don't understand why companies think they need to "improve" something that has made billions of $$ just the way it was. I don't like this "New and Improved" version of Pine-Sol. It smells soapy. It doesn't have the long lasting scent the original one did. I simply will not be buying it ever again unless they go back to the original fragrance and original formulation. I will buy the generic stuff before I spend 25 to 50 cents more for the Pine-Sol brand. I'm very unhappy about it. I can't believe you wanted to "fix" something that wasn't "broke". It was probably a way to save money for the brand/company rather than trying to improve it. Nothing needed to be improved. Best of luck to you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is NOT original Pine-Sol I recently bought a bottle of Pine-Sol that said new and improved scent on the label. Maybe it's new but it's hardly improved. Frankly, it stinks. I realize I could simply be nostalgic for the familiar scent I've known all of my life, but I don't think so. I know for sure that if I had never smelled the original and got a whiff of this in a store, I would not purchase it. It's a sharp, ultra-piney scent that's more industrial than comfortable. The only other scents I remember seeing in stores is Lemon, and I'm not clear on whether it's disinfectant the way the original is, so I may well stop using Pine-Sol altogether. I certainly won't buy "improved" original again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Took it back, smell is sickening My mom used Pine-Sol and I grew up with that clean pine scent in our house. Just last week I happily used the last of a bottle. Yesterday I got a new bottle, not noticing the New Scent notice on it. While cleaning the kitchen floor I realized there was a strange smell. I took a closer look at the bottle and saw the notice at that time. Thinking I might get use to it I finished the floor. By the time my wife came home I was sick of it and she asked me what that awful smell was. By bedtime she had a head ache from the smell that seemed to Last Longer. I took it back and am looking for a store that might have some of the old Pine-Sol left in stock. This reminds me of the time NEW COKE came out. Awful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If it's not broke don't fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never buy Pine Sol again unless you put it back the way it was!! I went to the store picked up a bottle, smelled it and knew something wasn't right. l looked at the label and it said "NEW". I put it back! It used to have 8.7% pine oil. Now it says contains pine oil. I have used this all my life. I'm 46, my Mom is 74, my aunt is 80. All we and other family members have ever used is Pine Sol. We will not buy Pine Sol products again. You have products with different smells. Why did you change the original? Maybe it was to make more money by using less pine oil...I think your going to loose money and life long customers. One more thing that has been lost to big business. Please put it back the way it was.
