Rated 5 out of 5 by from UL61 Hi Lift Ash Brown I have naturally medium-dark brown hair. I pulls red and is difficult to lift. Even professional colorist have difficulties despite copious amounts of time, toner and bleach. I gave up on lightening my hair several years ago, but in the last 6-8 months have found developing greys resistant to color. I took a risk on UL61 and have been blown away by the results. Without any discernable damage, I have beautiful, multi-faceted color. No patchiness, no brass, no red. I honestly have not gotten this many compliments on my hair color since paying $150+ 15 years ago. People are blown away when I tell them it is from a box...even my stylist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Natural!!! Light Auburn-Superior Preference In my early 30's, my natural bright red hair that I was born with started to turn to an ugly mousey brown color. I wanted to maintain the same or close to my original hair color. After years of trying different hair salons and store bought out of the box colors, I finally found the right shade that looks natural!! I know that it'll never be as red as it was before, but I absolutely love this color! I colored my hair, and the next day I went into a salon to get a hair cut. Many hairstylists in that salon asked me if that was my natural hair color! :D I said no, but was elated that they said my color looked natural! Please don't change it!! Thanks so much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Same color for 15 years I have used Light Auburn for many years since my early 20's. Every 3-4 weeks I reapply the color and I am careful to not leave on the ends for more than 10 minutes or so. My hair is medium reddish brown naturally and I started getting grays when I was about 20. Light Auburn turns my hair the prefect shade of red and my gray hairs create lots of highlights. I get asked about my hair color all the time. I have ginger coloring, so it looks totally natural. Thanks Loreal, I would have spent so much money at the salon coloring my hair over the years if it wasn't for this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It! I bought a L'Oreal Paris Superior Preference hair color in the shade 3C Coolest Dark Brown. This was my first time purchasing this shade and I must say that I love it!! I am naturally a medium-dark brown shade and I had previously dyed my hair a burgundy shade. Since it has begun fading I wanted to change up my color. I chose this particular shade because I am trying to remove the brass for a cool dark brown. It worked fabulously! I also have zero gray so there was no need for coverage. I would suggest that if you have gray and want a cool brown to go with Dark Ash Brown. Great product will definitely buy again!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 6C COOL LIGHT BROWN - GREAT COLOR! I've tried loreal hair products in many shades over the years and typically with poor results. The superior preference was about the only option at the store I was at for an ash color. I've used the 6A before which puts undertones of green in my hair as well as being extremely over-processed to the point of very dark brown. I saw they came out with the new shade 6C cool light brown and decided to try it out. Thank God they finally got it right! Very natural blended out my grays and brassiness left by previous red and golden tone dyes while not over processing. Definitely will be repurchasing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Hair Color!!! I can always count on Loreal Hair Color to give great results! I recently used the Superior Preference 9 1/2 A Light Ash Blonde, and I was amazed!! So beautiful, luminous and natural looking too! I love it! I have received many compliments on it! It is just as good, if not better, than salon color! I recommend Loreal Hair products to everyone I know, I do wish that there were a few more light blonde colors to choose from. I remember when they had the Dream Blonde Collection and that was wonderful. I'm hoping in the future Loreal will come out with something like that again. Thank you Loreal for making me happy with my Hair!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Color is nothing like on the picture. Decided to get a little different look and bring some life to my long light brow hair. Sometimes painting them Medium Ash Brown, but found that very pretty hair color on the box with "Dark Soft Mahogany Brown, warmer" and already imagine my new sexy look. When we painted my hair is ended up nothing like color on the box. It was way more darker, almost black with some burgundy purple shine under the sun light. It the room it look black. I look like a witch. Gosh what to do? From warm medium golden brown my hair turn in almost black. Very disappointed. The only thing I can say good about it, that L'Oréal colors stays long and panting deep.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grey Hair Coverage I've been using 6AB (Chic Auburn Brown) to cover my 50% gray hair with excellent results for the last 2 yrs or so.I follow the instruction on everything but 1 step. I leave the product on my hair for 5 more minutes than the instruction says as my grays are REALLY stubborn and because I want to end up with rich auburn brown and not a weird light red. I use a plastic cap for the last 15 minutes of the application to help with the process as my hair is thick, even-thought this color last for up to 8wks I have to reapply it every 6wks because that's how fast my hair grows since I started using L'Oreal Superior Preference.

Safety
Haircolor can cause an allergic reaction which, in certain rare cases, can be serious. Therefore, before you use this product it is necessary to follow these precautions: Do not use if: you have already has a reaction to a haircolor product; you have a sensitive, itchy or damaged scalp. Perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before each use of this product (see instruction sheet). Avoid contact of this product with eyes and skin (other then areas of application). If product gets into eyes, rinse immediately. Wear gloves provided in kit. Thoroughly rinse hair after application. Do not use for anything other than coloring your hair. Do not use on relaxed hair. Wait at least 14 days after perming before coloring. Do not use over compound henna or progressive color. Do nit inhale or ingest. Keep product out of reach of children. This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation on certain individuals and a preliminary test according to accompanying directions should first be made. This product must not be used for dyeing the eyelashes or eyebrows; to do so may cause blindness.
