Same heartburn relief as Omeprazole, now in a dissolving tablet

Rite Aid Omeprazole Orally Dissolving Tablet, 42 ct is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unpleasant after taste The product is as effective as regular omeprazole. However, as far as I can tell because it is a delayed-release it contains enteric-coated granules, as does the regular product. When the tablet dissolved in the mouth the enteric-coated granules are released and, even when washed down well with water, a few seem to remain in the mouth. They can then be crushed between the teeth yielding an unpleasant taste. I do not like this and therefore try to very quickly swallow the tablet with water before it dissolves. I will not buy the product again but return to the regular omeprazole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from dissolving Thank you manufacturers for producing a dissolving tablet--I can't swallow pills, so these are perfect for me. No more trying to choke down the "do not chew" tablets.
