Also Agree with Previous ReviewsThis is the WORST meter I've ever used. I have also had problems with error codes for no good reason. I too have had to toss at least 15 to 20 test strips per bottle because of error codes. This might be a cheaper way to go, but with the amount of test strips that get wasted, not really worth it!

worst meter I've usedthe test strips keep reading error code when I put my blood on it and it doesn't matter how much blood I have this is the first meter that's been like this in my whole 25 years of being a diabetic. causes me to waste half my test strips

Directions
1) Check opened date on test strip vial label. Do not use if after either date printed on file label or 4 months after date opened, whichever comes first. 2) Allo meter and test strips to sit at rooom temperature for 10 minutes. If opening vial for first time, write date opendedon vial label. 3) wash area to be lanced and dry. 4) Remove one test strip from vial. recap vial right away. 5) Insert contact end of test strip into Test Port of meter. Meter turns on. Do not remove test strip from meter until testing is finished. 6) Obtain Blood drop. With test strip still in meter, touch Sample Tip to top of blood drop and allow blood to be drawn into test strip. Remove Sample Tip from drop immediately after meter beeps and dashes appear across meter display. 8) Result is displayed. Record result. 9) Hold meter with test strip pointing down. Press Strip Release Button to discard test strip into appropriate container.
