Scott Bathroom Tissue, Unscented, 1-Ply 12 rolls is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 2600.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from What's changed? This is not the same as it used to be and I've used this same brand for more than twenty years. I don't want to be vulgar but it seems like almost more paper is being left than is ending up in the toilet. I've not been very happy with the rolls for some time now; it's getting too soft or something...please bring back the old paper formula.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft, convenient , economical my favorite! In my family we have the battle of the toilet paper! Our adult family make a big deal about their favorites! As guests in our home I find criticizing our choices of products is rude and disrespectful. Raising 4 children in a multi-bathroom home ,it seemed the rolls were always in need of changing. My husband and I began to use Scott toilet paper and our annoying problem improved . The convenience of soft ,strong and larger roles made life easier and greatly better than the days of individual sheets from public facilities that we had growing up. Get a grip , potty paper snobs it could be corn cobs or catalogs ! Try a little thankfulness!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What happened? is the septic safe label the same as 'fast dissolving', same as 'much thinner than it was before'? I switched brands for a few months and when I went back to Scott I immediately noticed how much thinner it was. I compared it to an older roll in another bathroom (from about 6 months ago to make sure this was an accurate assessment), and yep, it is MUCH thinner! Soooo, thinner means more sheets will be used which means it's value has decreased. I've been using this product my whole life because half of it was lived in a house with a septic tank, so this was the only brand my parents used. Why did you do this, this is like the cheap public restroom toilet paper now. I will not be buying this product again unless you tell me the septic safe is not the standard but is in fact meant to be thinner. I have a picture to prove it also.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Substandard Product I've been using Scott toilet papers for years. However, over the past six months or so, the quality of this product has gone down hill. I'd like to choose a thicker/stronger product however, because I live in a basement and have a flush up toilet, I have to use a one ply product because if I use anything of better quality, I run into problems with the pump. Getting back to my review.....the last roll I bought wasn't only thin.....it actually had little holes in the paper which made a product already substandard to be worst. When I first started using this product, it was a better grade than the product being sold. I guess I'll have to try and find another 1000 roll that won't fall apart in my hands.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Latest purchase very hard/rough We have been buying this product for many more years than I can remember. It is always been on the thinner side when compared to luxury type products but none the less a great product. Apparently the formula has changed with the last 36 pack we just bought (9/2015). It used to have a certain softness to it. Just a little rougher than a tissue. It is now lacking texture and hard more like a sheet of paper from a laser printer. It's bad enough that we will try other brands and not even finish this pack.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from unable to respond to your reply to my review You may not have made any "recent" changes (not sure what that means?) but based on the number of people who took the time to go to your website to let you know we've found Scott 1000 to now be so thin as to be unacceptable to continue using (and most have been deliberately purchasing this product for DECADES...)... I would think you would want to look into why the product is so unacceptable now? Perhaps the changes arent what you consider to be "recent", but clearly there ARE changes or people like myself wouldnt be taking the time to look up your website and give you the heads up that we would LIKE your product if it continued as it had been.... Apparently you want everyone to buy the "extra soft bathroom tissue" that is mentioned in every reply--- I tried it briefly but was having to put a new roll on the dispenser almost every day, so went back to 1000, but it's too thin

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No bang for your buck i have read your reviews and the replies. I grew up with Scott 1000 sheet rolls and it is all I have ever used. For one, it lasted a long time, another reason is it was it was lint free. Now the paper roll is shorter and softer. It has a textured look that it never had before. If I wanted soft cushy toilet paper I would not have been using Scott all these years. You seem to be pushing the extra soft type but for those of us who loved Scott the way it was this is not an option. You say you have not changed it "recently". So when did you change it? It HAS changed. I've been noticing this for awhile. I have to buy toilet paper way more often than I used to and I'm sick of it. I will be looking elsewhere. I am 59 years old and I have ALWAYS used Scott tissue. Not any more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Once a fan of Scott I have preached Scott 1000 sheet roll tissue for more than 30 years to everyone I know. I loved its dependability, that it was long lasting, and for me, economically sound. My last purchases, "Septic Safe," not so much, not only has the roll decreased in dimensions, but the tissues dissolves in my hands. If I use it to wipe my nose, it dissolves, leaving tissue on my face. If I touch it with moist hands, it dissolves in my hands. Needless to say, it breaks apart and leaves residuals with its intended use. I also find that since it is so quick to dissolve, we have to use more for padding, and it is not the good value it used to be. Because I can find no other version other than Septic Safe, for the first time in more than 30 years, I will no longer purchase Scott, unless I ever find the basic tissue on the shelves again. I loved the original Scott Tissue, and this makes me very unhappy with the company.
