Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love it, but I wish there was a less sweet option I love this soymilk and I drink it all the time in vegan protein shakes, with cereal, with cookies, and I use it in cooking things like vegan mac n cheeze. My biggest complaint is that I wish there was a less sweetened option available to use for cooking. The vanilla version is like candy to me and the original isn't bad, but it is still quite sweet and and sugar is the second ingredient listed with 6 g of sugar per serving. Its not totally a deal breaker for me because its still the best soymilk out there, but it would be a lot healthier and more versatile as a product if there was a less sugary option!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Taste and Versatile Too I have been drinking silk since it introduction. It was the one single thing that got me eating cereal. I have always hated the way milk tastes and I shied away from all food that had liquid milk, like oatmeal and cereal. I've tried the other silk flavors and keep coming back to the original. It's great to cook with too. I will substitute it in nearly all recipes that call for milk. There are a few you can't use it in like pudding and some cake mixes. I also like the fact that it is low in fat and no cholesterol, I have elevated cholesterol and I can drink this know is won't have an adverse effect. All in all it's a great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Way better tasting than rice milk!! I just found out I have Dairy and Gluten allergies. I'm 45 and love my milk, cheese, ice cream, you name it. Thought my diagnosis was the end of the world. Bought 4 different items including rice and soya milk. I have to say that for cereal, coffee and just drinking with anything, the plain original soy milk is my favorite and seems to taste closest to real milk. I feel like you can taste the sweetness a little more than real milk even though it has less. But if you are allergic to dairy as I am, you don't have a choice. This is the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This works very well for us! We use it to replace milk in cereal, coffee, smoothies and some cooking. We started to use almond milk but found that there was not enough protein in it to keep us going. Our son is allergic to nuts and it didn't make sense to buy two products. Regarding sugar content, even cow's milk has anywhere between 1 & 2 teaspoons of sugar that occurs naturally. So the amounts in a cup of this version of Silk is not going to put me into a tailspin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yay!! I have a son who is 2 and he developed an allergy to milk when he drinks it his face breaks out horribly in a big rash we gave him silk soy milk first with some strawberry flavoring in it for a bit so he would get used to it but now he drinks it straight unless he decides he wants flavoring but I'm just glad we found a milk that would still satisfy him while giving him the proper nutrition he needs for being a toddler!!! Thanks for a great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from beyond surprised! After my toddler ended up with a terrible body odor when he sweats at night. To a week of puking after every milk bottle I decided to quit cows milk and try silk. Since then he smells really good and no puking anymore. But not only has it changed his inner health, it has shockingly made me so happy. After one tiny taste before my son tried it I have craved it ever since. Basic dairy products make me so fat. But soy is light weight, healthy. And it so much better for you than cows milk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Non-Dairy on the Market!!! We've been buying Silk Soymilk and other Silk products for years... we occasionally purchase the other brands, but we like to stick to Silk because of the attention to detail that the company puts into its products. One example is, when my wife was pregnant, I wanted to know if various drinks were pasteurized or not. Silk did not have the info. on their packaging, but they did have it on their website under FAQs. The other brands? I had to use a telephone to call them! I might as well have written a letter... Another customer mentioned the presence of sugar in their soymilk... that is true, but they do offer unsweetened varieties. And hey, even this variety which is sweetened has half the sugar of cow's milk. Half! I will be loyal to Silk and all their varieties of non-dairy (bust mostly soy) for the foreseeable future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is a good product but the claims are misleading... I'm a Registered Dietitian and I am concerned with the nutrition claims on the website. Soy milk is fortified with Vitamin D2, which is not as easily absorbed as Vitamin D3. Soy milk does not have 50% more calcium than dairy milk either as you can see in the nutrition facts table on this website. It's still a good choice nutritionally but the health claims are being exaggerated.
