Rated 4 out of 5 by from BRING BACK CARDBOARD SLENDER REGULAR TAMPONS!!!! I have been using the cardboard slender regular tampons for years and they were perfect for my period. I was so shocked to go to the store and find that they were discontinued. Please bring them back! The regulars are too big and uncomfortable and I will DEFINITELY not use a plastic applicator. Why would all women who like cardboard applicators have a flow that requires regular to super plus tampons? I thought it was best to choose a tampon size that is right for your flow. What about us girls that have a light flow and don't like the idea of filling a landfill with plastic tampon applicators? Come on TAMPAX!! Listen up and bring them back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from bring back the full cardboard line I can't tell you how disappointed I am that you've discontinued the cardboard Lites & Slender Regular. I fear the Regulars are next. I've been a loyal Tampax customer for over 20 years and my daughter recently started using them too. But the regulars are too big for her, so without the Slenders she'll have to find a new brand. I will never go to a plastic applicator as I find them uncomfortable and more importantly I am disgusted by the thought of throwing so much unrecyclable plastic into the trash. Without the cardboard options, you'll be losing me and my two daughters (and it sounds like many others) as customers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why did you "fix it" when it wasn't broke??? After using Tampax and only Tampax for 25 years, I will now use the Wal-Mart brand, "equate" since they make a Tampax knock-off that doesn't have the horrible "skirt" design. As others have complained, I agree that the skirt is the opposite of a leak guard, and in fact wicks fluid out, and makes a mess of my undies. I can't find any other brand that doesn't have a plastic applicator, and o.b. isn't comfortable. Bad move, Tampax. You made one of the most basic mistakes in business: don't mess with a good thing. Bring back the original design. And by the way, when you do, keep making the light size color-coded pink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upset with discontinuation of slender tampons Very upset that you are discontinuing my favorite tampon, the slender regular cardboard tampon. I hate the plastic applicator and the short, stout tampon does not hold my flow as well as the cardboard tampons do. I will be shopping for another brand. You've just lost another customer..and I don't know if you realize it, but women are VERY product loyal when it comes to their tampons. When we find a product that works for our periods, that we like, we always buy it...we don't like to be uncomfortable or to leak during our time of the month. So once I find a new alternative, I won't be back unless you bring back my favorite tampon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Adding my voice to the choir: bring back slender regular I am another loyal Tampax customer who is now exploring other brands due to the loss of both the cardboard applicator Lites and the Slender Regular. As others have already stated, one size does not fit all! A large part of your market doesn't need Super and SuperPlus and SuperDuper whatever -- they don't fit or have too much absorbancy for our needs. We have all been taught that we're supposed to pick the tampon that matches our flow. . . how are we supposed to do that when you keep getting rid of the low-flow options? I was disappointed enough to lose the cardboard Lites, but now the discontinuance of the Slender Regular will have me telling all the other women I know to avoid Tampax.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from what happened to the cardboard Lites?? This new design is terrible. The braid is soaked before the tampon is, always making me feel as if I've leaked. And what the heck happened to the Lites with the cardboard applicator? I can't find them ANYWHERE, unless I want to waste my money buying a multipack. Just the way my body is, I rarely need anything heavier than a lite and no other manufacturer makes a lite except tampax . . . of course I can still buy Tampax Lites as long as I want to throw plastic into the environment and fill up the landfills. This is SO WRONG!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BRING BACK CARDBOARD SLENDER I have been using this product for over 15 years and they were PERFECT for my period. I have been looking for Tampax Cardboard SLENDER for weeks at different stores and was devastated to find out that they were discontinued. For me it was the perfect fit. The regulars are too big and UNCOMFORTABLE and I hate the plastic applicators. Now I will be forced to start using other brands of tampons. Not only are you going to lose my business, but you're also going to lose my daughters' business (another generation of customers). Listen to your customers who have been so loyal and BRING BACK the this product!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has this product been discontinued? I have used Tampax Cardboard applicator tampons for over 20 years. I cannot find them in the stores anymore. What is going on? I HATE the other Tampax lines. Why, in this day and age of recycling, etc, would Tampax do away with such a great biodegradable product? This product was perfect - just use and flush. No gross applicator to throw in the trash. I am SO disappointed with Tampax. You should at least let your LOYAL customers know why the decision was made instead of just pulling product from the shelves. I will have to find another brand, or use the store brand cardboard applicator products. Please, listen to your customers and bring back this product!!!!
