Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pod Skin sticking to my clothes - rewash rewash So I googled this problem to see if anyone else was experiencing it and here it is........I was thrilled to purchase these even though MUCH more expensive than my current brand because clothes smell good and it's less messy. However I'm finding a white residue on many of my clothes and then I found the pod skin sticking to clothes. Rewashing everything and ruined clothes do not save me $$ or time. I have started just snipping pod with scissors and squeezing it under water while filling to get all the stuff out and discarding the pod skin - I will not put the pod in my washer. I'll be using what I have and moving back to my old brand and hope they resolve this issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Very Good I was excited to try out the new tide pod. I used it on a load of sheets. due to the fact i was not completely sure how large of a load the pod was measured out for. The sheets came out clean and smelling clean. However I did notice on my front door washer on the rubber drum was the left over residue of the plastic cover of the pod. I used the warm cold cycle so it should of dissolved completely. Maybe you should look into that. overall I was completely satisfied but the only thing is these pods are made for regular size loads not large loads... that may be a weak spot with these pods. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pods Ruined Clothes I bought the pods looking forward to the ease of pods. What a huge disappointment. I have 4 ruined pieces of clothing and 1 sheet that I cannot use due to undissolved pods that I missed and went into the dryer. There were 3 other items that I caught and didn't get dried. These things are not dissolving in my HE front loader, even on small loads. Probably lost $100 worth of laundry. Also did not do well on a piece of laundry that was smelly. Came out of the wash still stinky! What a waste. They need to be removed from the shelves or designated only for top loading regular washers. I'm going back to the liquid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tide Pods This is a great product. I highly recommend that if you, yourself haven't tried this new tide product that you should do so now.My overall experience with the tide pods was great. You only have to throw the pouch into the washing machine and then load your clothes. It is a lot less time consuming than putting in your fabric softener and laundry soap. It also has stain removers built into the packet too! My laundry smelled great and the packet actually dissolved on it's own. The clothes were clean, smelled great and even some of the stains were removed in the process of washing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tide Pods ruined my clothes I loved the concept of throwing one little pod in and getting clean, fresh smelling laundry. I knew it sounded too good to be true! I just bought a bag of the ocean mist pods last week and have used them in my new Kenmore Elite front loader and they don't dissolve all the way and end up sticking to clothing! This has happened with a white load and two colored loads - so different temp settings. The first time I chalked it up to user-error and figured I didn't put it deep enough in the drum or something. The second and now third time I realize it's a definite flaw in the product. Will never use them again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I have used Pods now for about a year, mainly for whites on the "warm" water setting. I was concerned after reading all the terrible reviews but I have to say, I have not had any issues at all. I have a top loading, non-HE washer and drop a Pod in while the water is filling, let the water run over the Pod for a couple of minutes until there's about 3-4 inches of water in the tub then add my clothes (as per the instructions). No residue, no undissolved pods, no goo, no pipes clogged (as far as I know, but after a year of use I don't expect problems). Clothes come out clean, bright and smelling great. Super easy and convenient.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware of how you use. The product leaves heavy plastic and glue-like stains and purple/blue residue when washing dark clothes or light cycles. I'm not sure why, but the product doesn't seem to break down completely and adheres to clothing. I had one brand new sweater ruined (we weren't sure what it was)... and now have realized after two more episodes that it is the pods. We like the ease of use, and 90% of the time the product worked well. However, as we can't afford to have our detergent ruin expensive clothing, we are not going to buy the product anymore. Message to Tide... fix this stuff. It isn't worth the hit your customers are taking because the product wasn't fully tested.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tide Pods I received my sample yesterday and was very excited about trying the pods. It was so easy to use just drop it into the washer and that is it. It was so nice not to have the little drops of laundry soap. You know the ones you get when you are measuring the amount of detergent. I was nicely surprised that it cleaned my cloths so well. I could go as far as to say that it cleaned as well if not better than most laundry soaps. I will be telling all my family and friends about this exciting new Product (Pods) from Tide. Thanks so much for the chance to try the pods out. Love It!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
