Ask a doctor before use if you have liver disease heart disease (Dayquil only); thyroid disease (Dayquil only); diabetes (Dayquil only); high blood pressure (Dayquil only); cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus); persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema (Dayquil only); trouble urinating due to enlarged prostate gland; a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis; glaucoma (Nyquil only); a sodium-restricted diet (Nyquil only). Ask doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers (Nyquil only); taking the blood thinning drug warfarin. When using these products do not use more than directed.
