Fall into Autumn Beauty

Post Date: August 2015  |  Category: Beauty

Here’s the down low on beauty sleep – we ALL need it. Getting those zzz’s is the most important thing for great looking skin, but it’s also essential to have a personalized nighttime skincare regime. Here’s what I recommend:

  1. Start with a gentle cleansing product. I truly believe that we should always be as gentle as possible with our skin so we don’t strip it of natural oils. If I am wearing makeup, I start with a makeup removing towelette, then wash with a cream cleanser to remove any excess residue.

  2. After cleansing, I pat my face dry with a clean towel (pro tip: always dab your face dry to prevent irritation and dryness) and lather on a beauty oil. Beauty oils are a lost art and hold so many nutrients that our skin need - especially at night when the human body does most of its cellar regeneration.

  3. My eyes are the last (but definitely not least!) area of my skin that I focus on. To me, the under eyes are the most important part of my nighttime routine, so I like to spend a little extra time on them. I apply an eye cream underneath my eyes to help brighten and reduce any dark circles while I sleep.
