Prescription Medication Drop Box at Danbury Police Station

The Danbury Police Department is pleased to announce the grand opening of our prescription medication drop box located in the lobby of the police department. This box gives citizens the opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted, unused, and expired medications, keeping them away from children, other unauthorized persons and pets.

The prescription drug dropbox was donated by the Rite Aid Corporation’s KidCents Foundation Safe Medication Disposal Program. The donation was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Housatonic Valley Coalition Against Substance Abuse (HVCASA), Danbury’s own Stand Together Make A Difference (STMAD) and the Rotary Club of Danbury. These organizations have been longtime partners with the Danbury Police Department in addressing issues of substance abuse.

The City of Danbury Police Department is located at 375 Main Street, Danbury, CT.
