The following Dos and Don’ts contain the rules on User Content.  The use of the term “Do” means that a User shall follow the stated rule.  The use of the term “Don’t” means that a User shall not post any content that violates the stated rule.

Our site managers will attempt to address all questions and comments left on our pages promptly, but there will be delayed responses to comments left after business hours, or during weekends or major holidays. We will do our best to respond to posts that are in languages other than English. Please keep in mind that these may be further delayed. This page is intended for US residents 18 and older only.

    The Legal Stuff

    • These Terms of Use apply to all User Generated Content (“User Content”) that is placed on any of Rite Aid’s online sites, including but not limited to its Facebook pages, its Twitter pages/feed, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and www.riteaid.com (each a “Site” and together the “Sites”). You, a User, agree to these Terms of Use when using a Site or the Sites.
    • The information on any Site other than www.riteaid.com may or may not be accurate, complete, reliable, or up to date.
    • You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit, and Rite Aid assumes no liability for any User Content submitted by you. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Rite Aid, its agents, employees, officers, directors, vendors, successors, and assigns harmless from and against any and all damages, liabilities, claims, actions, demands, and costs (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of: (1) your use of any Site, or (2) any breach by you of these Terms of Use.
    • You understand and agree that Rite Aid reserves the right to review and delete any User Content for any or no reason, including User Content that we determine in our sole discretion violates these Terms of Use, Facebook’s Terms of Use and Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, The Twitter Rules, Instagram’s Terms of Use and Community Guidelines, Pinterest’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, LinkedIn’s User Agreement, any other third party site rules, terms, or conditions, or is otherwise inappropriate or offensive, harmful to Rite Aid, Rite Aid associates, Rite Aid customers, or any third party.
    • You understand and agree that Rite Aid may ban any user from posting on any Site for engaging in a pattern of inappropriate postings or as otherwise deemed necessary by Rite Aid, in its sole discretion.
    • If you post any User Content on any Site, Rite Aid may request permission to use your User Content. We will do so by responding to your User Content with a message that requests you to reply by simply typing the hashtag #PermissionToRiteAid. If you grant Rite Aid permission to use your User Content, you will be granting Rite Aid a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, sell and distribute such User Content, and to incorporate such User Content in any form, medium or technology throughout the world, all without compensation to you. In addition, you will be granting Rite Aid the right to include the name provided with the User Content you have posted, if Rite Aid chooses to do so.
    • Rite Aid reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. Your use of any Site created or administered by Rite Aid following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms whenever you use any Site created or administered by Rite Aid.

A couple of additional notes about our pages:

    • It’s important to point out that the managers for our pages aren’t doctors or pharmacists; they are Rite Aid customer service professionals. For questions related to pharmaceuticals and healthcare issues, we will refer you to your doctor for questions relating to the diagnosis and treatment, including further referrals.
    • For your protection, we will remove any posts/comments that contain any personal, proprietary, confidential, sensitive, or nonpublic information, such as your email address or phone number.
    • If you are a Rite Aid associate, please refrain from posting any information that is confidential or which violates HIPAA or Rite Aid’s Code of Business Ethics & Conduct.

Thanks from the Rite Aid Team. With us, it’s personal.
