Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't like new formula The old formula was the best on the market. I used to be able to use it in my face as my daily moisturizer.  I wasn't aware of the change at first until I noticed my makeup was starting to look funny and broken down by the end of the day. I couldn't figure out why it was starting to look bad because I use top knotch foundation and primer. Then I realized the Vaseline Intensive Care bottle was different and sure enough that is why my makeup was different. I used to be impressed that I was able to use the old formula on my face. I was used to buying very expensive face moisturizer and still would look oily by the end of the day. The new formula is no good!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Whyyyy?! Please explain why you'd change the best lotion out there? This current formula with 'drops of vaseline' is say the least. You guys don't need to compete with fancy brands. Your previous formula was thick and extremely moisturizing. It was the only lotion I could use to help my skin and hands. This new formula is watered down, it definitely isn't moisturizing and even if using twice as much it doesn't work. It just sits on top of the skin. I'm still shaking drops out of my last bottle of the old formula and am going to have to find a new brand if you don't switch it back. PLEASE SWITCH BACK TO THE OLD FORMULA!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So Disappointed Before I give my review I have to ask: Why did you change a perfectly good product? I have never before been compelled to write a review on a product and unfortunately my first will not be positive. I have been a very loyal customer to Vaseline Intensive Care for many years, even recommending it to family members. It worked great and was priced well below other brands of comparable quality. Unfortunately your “New” version is very disappointing. It looks and feels oily, leaves oily stains on my garments and the price has increased drastically. Please consider going back to the previous version and the next time you are considering raising the price please think of your customers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for dry skin! This product of Vaseline is extremely beneficial for people like me with dry skin. It absorbs into the skin fast, and take no time at all to dry. The finish of this lotion is very smooth and not tacky and sticky, like most dry skin lotions I have purchased. I have used it consistently for a week and the results are astonishing! My skin feels moisturized and healthy. I would recommend this lotion to my family and friends because it is the most effective lotion out there for people combating with dry skin. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! I received a complimentary sample to try of this lotion, in the mail. At first was not sure how it would compare to the expensive stuff I usually buy. I tried this advanced repair, and I loved how it was not greasy, and it not only softened my skin, but after two days (instead of the five it says will make a difference), I noticed the itching was considerably better. I have a couple of scars on my stomach that get so dry and itchy, and after two days of using Vaseline, I noticed the itching was less and the softness was long lasting. I recommend this to anyone that has dry itchy and red skin, especially in the winter. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Fragrance Free I received this lotion to try and review. I was excited because I'm always on the hunt for the best lotion, especially during the winter. The first thing I noticed was the scent of the lotion! It's supposed to be fragrance free but the scent was obvious and almost manly. I was turned off but still tried the lotion over the course of a week. While it seemed to moisturize fine, it didn't seem as impressive as other lotions I've used. I also felt like I couldn't touch anything after I applied it because it would get on whatever I touched. The smell was also too strong and unappealing. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hate the new product! Dear Vaseline: Why did you change this formula?!? I have been using the fragrance-free Vaseline Intensive Care from head to toe for as long as I can remember. It used to be the best! I have issues with acne and the old formula was literally the only lotion I could use on my face. This new formula is absolutely awful! It's difficulty to describe how terrible it is. It is almost watery! And weirdly greasy, nonabsorbent, etc. It doesn't keep my hands soft/moist like the old product. It makes my face dry and, yet, oily? Please, please, please bring back the old stuff...ASAP.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not my cup of tea Winter wreaks havoc on my skin! My hands and cuticles become so dry and gross! Influenster was kind enough to send me a full sized bottle of Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion to try in exchange for my honest opinion. They say it's for sensitive skin, clinically proven to heal very dry skin in 5 days, and is very rich. Honestly, it felt a bit watery to me. It didn't feel very rich at all. And it took a few minutes to absorb, which I don't care for. I also am trying to get away from all the chemicals in my beauty items, so I don't want the petroleum type of products in my home. I'm sure it may work for some folks, but for me, this is a no go.
